I basically want a faster paced new world. With weapons still having weight to them like a monster hunter/souls game. Jump attacks that new world doesn't have but some flash or combos of black desert. Not too fast like warframe or weirdly fast horses are in black desert. I feel like this could be that game even if it doesnt have all that I want listed. I just want to use the damn lever action rifle

I'm a new player and can't even get to quest step 3 of 5 in the December 2024 event as i have no clue how to get to Betnikh, and can't find any guide for it either as all of them have different starting locations than me, and i have no clue how to get to those either as there is no fast travel option for them. If a simple event quest isn't newcomer friendly, i guess the game isn't for newcomers at all.

I absolutely hate that players have guides on animation cancelling just to improve DPS. It's so dumb. I think all players should be forced to complete the animation before they can use other attacks.

So I came from WoW. How do you target an enemy if you're a caster? How does the lock on work? Biggest concern for me to know before I buy.

Combat being bad in a game where combat is 99% of the game? Yeah its why i couldnt stick with it too and I have 1000s of hours in Morrowind through Skyrim.

Is there a way to enable level scaling to your character or increase difficulty some how? I’m not familiar with MMOs a lot but I’m about lvl 18 now and it feels like you can just put the controller down and enemies literally cannot kill your health pool

Scaling in MMOs is by far the worst aspect of MMOs. That's what made WoW Classic so epic. The lack of usable skills is lame too. A total of 10 skills over two weapons? Lame. Crafting in ESO is actually one of the best parts of the game.

I liked enemies having levels cuz i had reason to get stronger and craft its so bland now everything is just a different skin and 3 types of health squishy in between and tanky i felt so proud killing that stupidly high lvl enemie after fixing my build now its bland

I agree with scaling being garbage, but from what I hear, once you reach lvl 50 cp 160 you destroy everything in overworld and normal stuff and therefore feel strong and overpowered finally. I haven't played yet, but that is what others say.

Asset flipping is not inherently a scam. People have noticed that MMOs don't feel special anymore, they all feel similar... Why? Assets lol. A lot of dev teams use assets.... The prob with quin is that they didn't just use assets, their whole game is a mash up for nothing but various pre built assets.
