This is awesome... with the roads, I do have a little concern about a lot of smaller sections of road where you get some bridges and stuff, which I kinda feel like should keep the speed bonus, but it drops. The first place that comes to mind are some wooden bridges in Reekwater, but I'm sure there's a bunch more.

I would like a quest that involves my mount and sadly, after following many steps, collecting many pieces, and performing the cleansing ritual (that goes bad, queue cutscene) my mount is corrupted and now has glowing red eyes, and flowing red corrupted mane. My mount is however still bonded to me and provides me 10% resistance to corruption while riding through corrupted zones.

for me the meta is always like Ultima Online animal taming and animal lore/veterinary. rare mounts in dungeons and random spawns within regions of the map, peacemaking with food and music. but i'ts too hardcore since the mount can die and attack. black desert also have a incredible mount system. i like how they doing. love to see it evolve even more.

Okay to answer the question i have two responses, the first would be a drake style mount but the follow up idea would be a wagon mount. One that multiple friends can ride on at once and maybe even store items in.

I think it would be an exciting feature to be able to tame any BEAST in the game (that a human can suitably ride) and be able to mount and ride them. Below is a list of them, and being able to "tame" them and then ride them would just be an awesome experience. You could even add a new proficiency around it called Animal Handling and as you tame and capture more beasts throughout the world, it levels up. You could create new crafted items like nets or lassos of different levels to tame larger, smaller, more powerful beasts to extend the economy and with models already in the game vastly increase the diversity of mounts for the players. And as you release expensions with new beasts, that can then be included as new mount content as well. Win-win! First of all thanks for putting that much time and work into it :) the game is making great progress and is already a blast to play I am really looking forward for the update. Which mounts? You show everytime in every trailer and or video that big mammoth, mammoths are cool. There are already crocodiles ingame with a saddle on it. And most of all please make some mounts you can craft via the different crafting paths like one mount with arcana, one with weaponsmithing, etc. make them quite pricey like so lvl 250 and the same price like the tent skin you can craft at lvl 200 furniture. So you can show of to everyone in the world that you´re really really good at crafting.

I think a mount that is different would be welcomed.... Something like Spiders, Scorpions or even a Snake (wurm-like, to fit in NW)..... a Hellmouth (the big lizard at sulfur pools) would have been my ABSOLUTE favorite MOUNT (it looks so ridable!!!) The available options are a GREAT Start... but i feel like either Lion or Wolf could have been replaced by a more unique mount, on almost all levels NW suffers from the lack of variety. Not enough OPR maps (1), No Dual Wielding weapons (and overall it would be cool to see more Unique weapons, the flail is great addition TBH...), Monster Variety (seems like this expansion will bring a fair bit of new elements in this category as well), worse Character Creator (with all players being BODY Clones of each other, its despicable when compared to any other top MMORPG).... so IT would be nice if NW Devs focused on providing variety in all elements that exist already in game... because the elements for having one of the most amazing MMORPGs ever, are there... however they suffer from terrible variety... theres just not enough of most things.

I want to see job mounts as part of a triangle jobbing system. Traders, Hunters and Theives. As a trader, you would summons a mount at a trading post (camel, bull, elephant...etc) and purchase goods to load onto you're mount that you can only get in that particular region you're in. You can either risk going on a solo trade run to another region for profit on your own, or hire Hunters to protect you from Thieves as you make these trade runs. The further you travel, the bigger the profits. As a Thief, you would attack these trade runs taking down the trader (and hunters of course) and their mount(s) that are loaded full of goods. If they successfully kill the mount(s), the payload will drop to the ground where the Thief would summons their own mount(s) to pickup the goods and get away from the scene of the crime before hunters or other traders nearby spot them. Thieves will have their own area where they turn in the loot for profit. Hunters job would be to protect the trade at all cost. If thieves manage to kill the trader and their mount full of goods, but are killed by a hunter, the hunter will guard the loot until the trader can make it back to the scene and summons another mount to pick their goods and continue on with the trade run. Hopefully for them, the thief doesn't call for backup. I gotta be honest. I love the game but it starts to get extremely boring because there's nothing keeping me engaged. Adding a jobbing system like this would definitely keep the game interesting. Plus it would be another avenue for players to earn coin and bring another PVP element to the game.

COMMUNITY QUESTION: Not necessary rainbow mounts, unless they are chameleons, mechanical / stone made mounts, Mounts with attachable light sources or those that appear differently at night and during the day, No 10 recolors of the same model. For instance, if one color is obtainable in a hard raid and a different color is given in a quest, players lose the perception of rarity, Emote for mounting with cool animation, Stable at your housing for summoning your mount, special mount furnitures from rare patterns ot mount achievements, cool animations, so when mount is sprinting it glows or has cool subtele animation

Well, since we have mammoth now, I think we should add mammoths to the mounts. Scorpions would be cool too. I would also like to know if there are versions of each enemy family type for mounts IE. Angry Earth horses, Lost horses and Ancient horses etc. ? Though, I am disappointed that it sounds like you can only get mount armors through the game store, sure I was expecting them to be there but I was hoping we could get a few in game too. But I hope I am wrong about that.

Any animal already in the game could fit well with being a mount. Like bears, boars, bison, stags, scorpions. I’d also really love different versions of mount skins to ,such as corrupted versions and more on the opposite end of that more nature/life mounts. Similar to the one trailer where the corrupted bear charges at the deer that’s made of like branches and stuff. Mounts having different versions like that would be awesome. They could just be skins for the mounts that you can change and maybe even have them be something that could happen randomly as a way to achieve them. Like maybe while on your regular bear mount doing certain tasks or going through areas that are corrupted could unlock a corrupted bear skin if your lucky.
