Genuinely can't complain about £25. Your right it would have been great for the game to be released like this but in reality i paid £25 for game, so in total ive paid £50 for game ive played for 700 hours. Worth every penny.

game feels really good, I say that as someone who was directly affected by the recent nerf to dex and the stam regen. I still feel like the game is in the best spot it’s been in since launch. i quit for 3-4 months due to all the bugs and other issues and came back after Brim and this right now feels like the most complete the game as felt. 8/10 but could be a 10 if they fix some of the quirks with mount jumping animations/desync jitters. Otherwise it plays fantastic

good stuff. its funny, all the people i play with that i've seen swear up and down the game is shit and dead the past 2 months and said they'd never buy the expansion were on a mfing horse day 1... lol but so much of the changes feel like launch. which is great to hear. gear and meta is confusing, nobody knows what is good, its like we're learning to walk and don't know what legs are. it feels like there is a new puzzle to solve and that's fun. also i was skeptical of the Influence Races because the towers look super wimpy, but just the open world pvp was so fun today... detonating in a huge clump and killing 15-20 people. nobody's had that much fun on new world in a long time. i still think the race itself isn't designed that well and the towers are way too basic, but if people keep showing up and the rewards are good, it could really save the game for getting regular players into PvP. it's not just the sweats coming out, EVERYBODY is zerging and it really invigorates the best parts of the game.

I give the game less then a week to see the player drop to less then before. Playing old content with a new combat system no thank you. 3 hours of main quest line and a few hours of riding around the whole map. I just cant pull myself back right now.

It took a year for Brimstone to drop back to pre-Brimstone player counts. We should expect some percentage based on whether you think the expansion is bigger or smaller than brimstone and keep in mind its not free, but a week is a bit extreme.

@@rhysplant8392 well let's see here, ESO but they charge more for less and you get a new copy and paste zone and a couple copy and paste dungeons with maybe a raid if you are lucky, destiny 2 drops 100+ dollar expansions while delivering a new planet (zone) and a raid, and then 2 dungeons throughout the year YOU have to pay for. Let's see, oh yea games like WOW have become similar but you also have to pay a subscription on top of buying the new expansion. I can go on for as long as you like, I can tell you are some how butt hurt and are looking to start something but compared to allll this, the new world expansion delivered everything else these games do but for less money and they also added a fair bit in my opinion, they completely restructured the way gear is achieved in the game and made it much more fun and easy to get powerful while introducing mounts to the game with a new zone with 29? Or something like that artifact weapons and armor, the numbers speak for themselves anyways I think I'm done ranting idk what you are fishing for but peace out dude prolly wont look at your reply.

is it worth if if you don't pvp? I have 0 hours of pvp since day 1 of game launch. And loving it that way. But is it worth it for the pve player? Also I don't play melee classes. Healers, rangers and magic user for me.

99% of your gold comes from PvE so it's perfectly fine if uou don't do PvP at all no need to force yourself to do it, You'll only missed out on some Emotes, Titles, and Titles doesn't even increase ur stat, it's only there for flexing purposes and the PvP track rewards, the track rewards are also Just decent, nothing too crazy about it really so there's nothin to worry about

GOT GAME LAST YEAR AND LOVED IT THE 6H I GOT INTO IT UP TO THE UPDATE PROBLEMS I STARTED TO HAVE THAT STOPED IN 2024(SO ALOT OF MONTHS) Update n what problem was "FOR ME"!! Yes small updates made game reinstall from start n took a whole day+a few days later same thing happened week after week n keept on for several months.. Do this game still have this horrible updates?? I mean that will take a full day if u have 100mbps connection(not good but no problem w any other game so far) Is this dlc better now in 2024? One thing I would like to see is a bit more flexibility with the Overwolf New World Minimap application. Right now, it's been crippled down to completely useless due to game sanctions. While I understand you don't want us to know where everything is, at least give us the opportunity to mark gathering node locations. I realize animals roam but give us at least something useful for those who install the minimap mod. Please.

This guy said he doesn't know why people whould come back for mounts, then goes on a rant about how awesome mounts are and why the game needed them.....bad review right off the bat. It's reviews like this that confuses younger players on why the game is good or bad. Mounts are in many good MMOs. This game should have launced with mounts, instead they put them behind a paywall. AGS just has horrible people making decisions for this game. In a month or two the game will be back down to a low player base due to the lack of content and bad pvp/pve.

The new faction push is an absolute blast and with the mounts, just makes for some really good fun. Oh also, you are paying for $30 of new content, have people even considered the content AGS have added for free over the past two years and will probably continue to do so.

Happens when these games launch and happens after expansions. It’s pretty standard for the genre and this is by far one of the cheapest mmos to play. Counting the free stuff as part of the "is the expansion worth buying" is logical fallacy. That certainly does help the game relative to the question "is the game worth playing?", but that isn't the question being answered here. I'm buying it (eventually) because I want to support the game and because the INT Great Axe sounds awesome (even if the perks are probably mediocre).

Not sure what their marketing team is thinking, all they had to say is that there is an INT GA! Sounds really fun, like they are loosening up the game a little bit for us to enjoy. Moving from a "probably not" to "probably yes, after I beat BG3 and get my fill of 2077". Did they do anything to fix the chat? Like when I set my chat to include specific channels (like company), but messages don't show (maybe it's a delay?) unless I tab to the company only chat tab. How bout the item icon bug? How about the AOE casting on my feet instead of the reticle? I am really curious how/if they addressed these old bugs (or improved discovery on the AH), and consider this the true hallmark of AGS's long term commitment to the game.

influence race POI not shown on map, same with some of the new shrines, main story quest bugged, featherweight boss spawn time is less than 1 second, rapier artifact boss doesnt even spawn, some quests you have to wait for 30min to complete because only one person can do it at a time and the item you need to collect takes 2min to spawn and theres 30 people trying to do it at once. just some stuff i can list from the top of my head @@def_metal

I think this game is just releasing too little too late. Its been out for ages.... we should have had multiple massive expansions by now with new continents and tons of PVE content. Instead, we get a 30$ P2W DLC that locks mounts behind a paywall... and "updates" a zone rather than adding one. What a joke.... The "revamps" that are a free update should not be used to justify the cost of the overpriced DLC that adds nothing. This whole thing should have been a free update,.

Dude mounts in mmo are just yes fking amaizing but not in new world. In new world mounts sucks hard. Just look at mounts in archeage bkack desert or any other mmo. New World basically its bad game. Well we have to remember that new world missing trade proffesion so you can't trade items crafted with special order and selling them to npc. New World its simple and basic small game but if we looking for real mmo then we xhuld look for Black Desert online that's all.

AGS made a Very costful miscalculation with this. It may not show now, but it will show later. Specially when they release another DLC. What they done imo. #1 This "Patch" was anticipated to be huge fix on something that affected every player enjoyment of the game (Gear progression) Practically everyone did not like, 1st and 2nd iteration of NW gearing system, It had flaws and actually did the game a disservice. #2 This patch brought us back to a zone we already had, First light, so Not a "New zone" just a revamped one for a story , that after playing it my self, personally felt rushed and half arsed. Not as compelling as Isabella. Made worse by the fact that the majore characters bosses, Artemise medusa etc, You had to face them in a solo trial. I was questing with my friends, and it was a huge set back. The solo fight was boring, and unimpressive. #3 AGS Marketting Miscalculated. Weather it was for greed, or they are just trialing the waters to see just how patheticly low the gamers standards are today, that they will accept shit thrown at them. Whatever their reasoning, to make this "Patch" a so called DLC, was a HUGE mistake. They should have released this patch, and worked on the bugs, and make it like a " Thank you valued players for staying with us, and coming back to test out new 3rd Gear progression iteration" Following that, say next year Q1, they could have prepared a real DLC, a Big one, New zones, New content etc. DROP a price on that hot cake, and watch it flow like water. NO one would have had ANY problems with that. its been 3 years. But what they did now? rushed, greedy miscalculated, and another slap to the face of gamers, and common sense, and fairness.
