I felt the stick getting spongy about four ride bell hits before it broke. I was hoping it would last until I had a better transition point, but I was ready to go if it broke too early. When it did, I was prepared. So, it wasn't as miraculous as it may look.

This guy is as good as the original, I wouldn't know the difference if I wasn't watching it 👍 Awesome in my opinion!

One thing I like about this video is the guy keeps a straight face throughout his playing!! No goofy looking mouth twists, no slamming his head around like it's going to pop off and roll down the road. He just plays the damn song. That's it!!!! Good job! Just a suggestion: try using your left hand instead of your right during the beginning of the song. Once you get the fluidity down, it sounds more natural than the right hand.

Really cool drumming. I don't know really all that much about the kit playing, but everything looked and sounded perfect. I loved the smash sequence. Thanks for posting this.

You know, you could definitely help reduce Rush's insurance premiums! With you around to tour with them as Neil's understudy - the insurance company won't have to worry so much about a motorcycle mishap or achy shoulder! You ARE that good!

@Gr8Gambit That doesn't work either. It doesn't matter what you call a video or what you put as keywords, when you submit a video, the KZbin bots take the audio and analyze that against its library of existing, copyrighted tunes and if any part matches any part of theirs, they either a) ban the video outright, or b) mute the audio.

On my previous camera, I was using a snap-on, wide-angle lens to get the whole room, but it gives a sort of 'filmy' appearance to the video. With the new camera, I found that I could almost get all of the kit in without using the wide-angle, so I left it off. The reason the kit look smaller is because there are four cymbals and three floor toms that you can't see. So... it IS smaller, apparently.
