I wish the internet & you tube were around in my teens. Man I would play every Rush album from debut up to including Hold your Fire. On bass, that is. Could only find one drummer that could play Rush, Yes, ELP. And it was cool until his bro wanted to be in the jams/ band. He didn’t want to do any of the Prog stuff 😢

What I love about these videos is that they expose the true genius of Neil Peart and how the detailed complexities of his pieces are broken down (yet still impossible for me to play). Outside of this track being amazing in its own right- especially the live version from the Grace Under Pressure Tour, you did an amazing job replicating the moves. Not a fast moving song but so complex - thank you sir - and well done!

This is my favorite Rush song too. The lyrics put me as close as I'll ever get to driving a Barchetta. You did a great job on this. Drums and cymbals sound great, you hit the drums hard, and your playing is right on. Thanks for putting up a video that shows what it looks and sounds like when the drums are played well.

Thank you so much for taking the time and doing this, absolutely awesome. I am trying to learn the intro Hi Hat pattern and as you said, keeping the beat on the kick is complete control. I managed to get it for a couple of seconds (not playing the correct Hi Hat pattern but something similar) and it felt the best. We will get there!
