New to these but I’ve been doing a lot of fishing currently. I have been farming just fishing in windsward no hotspot just based off sounds using firefly. Seeing as the bait is usually so cheap I also had alot already I’ve just been casting you get 10xp per hook and if I don’t hear a good sound I just snap the line. But I’m able to do like 5-7 casts a minute and you listen for a sound. I’m doing well off of it I’ve got 100 tadpoles and like 30 chests in a hour without any trolphies. Which is about $10,000. Anyways keep up the videos I’m taking notes. If you know of the best location for good fish let me know. As ya I’d like to move up from tadpoles but is a good market.

Nice so with these changes should I open my 180 fishing chest or wait? I'm also holding Gypsum Cast chest since 2 months ago to make a video but now with the chance of not rolling Resill and Ward I'm saving them till S2 maybe that'll make a good video on what to stack or open

there is no real reason to wait, as I said it isnt a change to treasure chests, they just added more types of chests

Simply incredible! Gonna go from aptitude 40 fishing to aptitude 80 in a matter on weeks~ massive changes look great! And of course you know the game & the devs better than they do… it NEVER surprises me just how poorly they communicate in patch notes versus what’s actually implemented in game!? Like I know that they’re different departments but really, the amount of miscommunication between them makes seem more like they’re working for different companies at times…

not yet, but they did say after this rework, they will then rework the legendary fish with no current uses, so its coming!

There is no real reason to sit on them, other than the obvious, chests cost no weight, as storage for the contents, you see they did not change chests, they simply added more new types

1.Essence chests are terrible. The chest has 4 levels, but it contains 3 essences of the 1st tier. On the map, from a simple source, from 7 to 10 pieces are extracted at a time, and here 3. Is this considered a "valuable" chest? 2.At the expense of the legendary bait. Out of 20 attempts, 1 fat salmon was caught. From it we get 5 caviar. Is it worth it? Are we taking apart 4 legendary fish to get 5 caviar? 3.Pheromone bait. Cooking requires 1 rare pheromone and 1 sauce (!). What do we get? The bait is slightly better than the one that lies everywhere under your feet, but requires 2 rare components? Who needs it at all?

If the devs were smart, then they would have fishing lures crafted by Engineer skill. I know this will never happen, because devs want players to grind for bait, instead of making reusable or non-reusable lures.
