If you're willing to go without the Freedom pants, the Michael artifact Kite Shield has BOTH Counter Attack AND Healing Defense as well as a Refreshing Cleanse on block that removes a Debuff. Do you know if Refreshing Cleanse also works on Greatsword block? This may warrant some testing.

I fixed attune/keen speed and got empowering leap strike and holy moly I have not seen so much toxicity in all my time playing NW as I’ve gotten since left clicking people to death with this thing, it sticks to them like glue.

Heya, cool video. Just to mention that you are missing on extra resistances. You are using 1 moonstone and 1 emerald which means that you gain 5% thrust and 5% slash when you could use 2 onyx and gain 5% slash, 5% thrust and 5% strike.

Ive always played glass cannons in pvp games like mage or bow but im tempted to try something like this out. The dodge animation on heavy armor is weird for me coming from always playing in a light setup lol maybe ill get used to it quick. Awesome build guide!

Been using the BP lately, still pretty hearty running 50-100 con. Michcael feels great in small fights, large opr pushes idk how well that will fair.

Great job with the build! I've been building my own version of it for a bit before I came across this vid and discovered the shield tech and it's amazing. I am running Serenity with an Opal Runeglass instead of attunement though, but I feel like that's more preference. I am curious as to why you max out the shield bash skill since it only increases stun by 1 second and deals little to no damage? Not trying to criticize but you could drop both those perks and pick up the elemental DR like you used to have and whatever else you want (ex. empower from block, empower from heavy, or reduce skill cooldowns from blocking) and still be chilling. Anyways good luck and I look forward to how you improve the build in the future! :D

Ankh is BIS with a healer. if you do arena you should always queue with a healer if you can. The "Nerf" was actually a buff for playing without a healer as well.

@@sittinguphigh not a chance, complaining about someone duoing with a healer completely goes against the spirit of arena. Season 4 will introduce cross server arenas so get all the proper arena comp practice before then.

@@StovnOG Or you could q as a 3 stack and go against other 3 stacks that also have healers. Those games are really fun and intense. Only one team having a healer on the other hand is usually always a one sided match, that results in a terrible time for one of the teams. Healers belong in premades not solo q imo.

@@sittinguphigh unfortunately there's never 3 stacks and when there are it's two other teams trying to win trade. So the only real 3 stack practice you can get is back capping in opr. So either get a healer or be a healer

Hey, nightveil tower shield from event got refreshing move on it, i dont think you can get that perk anywhere else, i have one with accelerated resolve, refreshing move, flame conditioning. It might not be the best shield, but it lowers jackalope antler cds to stay on target with leaping strike.

I am a pve player...leader board runner, and I tank with attuned leather pants....the extra stats converts into alot of dmg. Since I am new to pvp, have you considered that artifact?

I haven't since they are medium and it doesn't compare to the other artifacts (in pvp specifically). But they are definitely quite solid especially for hitting bench marks.

Gotta be careful of empower cap. You're hitting empower cap just from counterattack and Serenty's Balanced Blade. BUT i didn't know counter attack applied to both weapon's blocking. I don't think this is intended tbh. No other perks work like this unless its an artifact and it says it in the description.

I have run genesis for the sword about 15 times, still nothing. I did get the artifact hatchet, so I have that going for me which is nice.

I like the build. I'm struggling hard in arenas..I dont have Serenity so my DPS isn't great. Basically just getting surrounded by flame throwers and and can't out DPS them.

300 strength 300 con could be a play if you just wanted to use gs as a defensive bar mostly with serenity. Gravity well bar swap into relentless rush into heavies sounds good. Would get crippling reap on body and maybe enfeebling maelstrom on the weapon itsself. Could work.

You have a lot ahead of you! Take your time questing and leveling to 65. Use that time to try each weapon so you can go ahead and and be leveling that weapon line up. Also helps to know which weight and role you want (light, medium, heavy)

Struggled with the split since magnify kept jumping me back and forth lol but I managed a 202/202/153 split, with con food it's 202/202/201. Just keep at it. You’ll get it naturally, just give it time as you level your track. Won’t be too long. Some people have gotten it quick so have done like 40 tracks . Don’t give up, it’s so worth it

You’re losing out on prots with your gem setup btw. If you slot a onyx in your anhk and you replace your moonstone ring with a ring crafted with an onyx then you keep the same prots you had and gain 5 more strike prot.

Your freedom math is wrong. 20% from heavy armor ONLY affects remaining duration. So if you have 50% already on gear an get hit with 8s stun, then this stun is 4s but 20% from heavy armor now kick in and reduces it to 3.2s. So the more freedom you have, the less usefull 20% from heavy armor is.

Buddy why are you so mad? I still use ankh so i dont get your point there. If anything ankh is actually buffed imo. How is this an exploit? Its been this way since the ptr apparently and the devs are aware of it being how they changed shields. Same way refreshing works on shield really. 'crutching' even though I said I only used it for 2 days and literally all my clips are with my normal shield
