I actually tweaked your build a bit for my own use. Was having a ton of fun with it, but thought this build would work with Heavy SnS/Hatchet. And it does pretty nicely! If I had blood drinker, it would be borderline OP lol. Good vid man!

What setup you had on SnS/Hatchet (attribute split, artifacts, main perks)? SnS doesn't get a lot of basedmg increases so blooddrinker hurts it way more than it does hatchet (that gets more basedmg increases in tree). Was it sns just backbar defensive or how it played?

Loving your content! So what are your thoughts on Perf vs Cyclone and which do you think you will stick with going forward?

ay thank you so much my man. not entirely sure yet which I'll stick with, going to try perforate some more this coming weekend and see how it feels but it felt pretty good yesterday. on one hand cyclone gives a little more burst, a decent heal, and stamina on demand. but then perforate gives another way to rend if I miss javelin, a 30% weaken and a 30% fortify n still good damage. I'd hate to drop sweep and lose a cc but we'll see how it goes hah they're both very useful

I put shirking nature on my berserker axe. That +45% extra dmg with no cooldown is really strong

you're not wrong, it's definitely a nice burst haha I played shirking lightning on my old spear build. it's great for trading but you don't get any value out of it when people are trying to run from you is the only problem I had with it

What do you plan on doing next season with the new medium artifact and changes to equip load update soon?

I really like the way they're going with the equip load changes. not a very drastic change for any class but does put a bigger damage gap between each. none of the new artifacts really seem insanely strong but I'll definitely be giving the chest a spin to see how it compares to tumblers. not too bothered about the health pants but I'll try them anyway

Do you think the new venom spear artifact is more useful than the sting spear in PvP? Have you try the winged leather shoes?

not for my playstyle, no. it seems like it'll be very good paired with other weapons but I typically play 1 melee and 1 ranged weapon for most builds, I only feel like I can get away with running double melee with this build specifically because of what sting allows me to do along with social distancing and all the haste hatchet has

I can't imagine it outweighs to value of the pull and it's knockdown. Crowd control > most things in this game.

definitely agree there, knockdown>root>stagger>stun(sleep) and the pull allows you to put people in a position they really don't want to be in, pulling a backline player into your own clump is basically a death sentence for them with the 40% rend

can you explain why this build so much relies on crit? also, if you could have the gear of your choice what would be your ideal perk layout for all your pieces? It seems like you have a variety. in this video you are running perforate...did you change to that from the build video? thanks

I explained the change in the video brother, I just wanted to try perforate so I changed the gloves to have the perforate perk instead of cyclone but other than that it's the same. I wouldn't worry too much about the gear since things are about to change a bit with the new season coming up, already have a pretty good idea of what I'm going to switch to. but the ideal armor pieces for me always have shirking heals and as many damage mitigation perks as I can get, crit retribution on helm, and fill in any gaps with weapon perks, my current build only has 1 empty spot for perks tho bc of frigid dawn pieces. crits are so important for the build because they're so valuable for both weapons. for the spear a crit extends my debuffs on the enemy (rend and weaken) to keep me at an advantage, it also gives me stamina back per crit, and the spear has a just high enough crit dmg modifier that it actually matters in pvp, anything over 25% is value since it means more damage to light players. the hatchet gives me stamina back on crit for light attacks, but the real value is the damage, it's crit dmg multiplier is so high that it gives me extra damage against everyone, even heavy players. and the crit dmg % is a real % difference. like 7% vicious is a real 7% increase whereas other perks might say 5 or 10 % change but it's really just an empower or base dmg modifier so it's actually a bit weaker than it sounds

What's object/perk/ability give you haste 20% plz ?

berserk, torrent, and social distancing abilities all give 20%. I try to run zephyr cakes in opr if I don't have to go out of my way to get them, the tooltip says they're 10% but they're actually another 15%. keen speed on the weapon is also an option I've been considering

cant make blooddrinker work on my current build (closer ranger rapier, musket). the damage is just too low to be consistently outhealing the damage done to me when trading. i assume hatchet hitting like a truck on backstabs and spear debuffs help a lot

yeah you feel the damage reduction a lot more with some weapons than others. I really want to see how the new chest artifact works out with blooddrinker. If it negates most of the dmg loss, I'll be trying a lot more builds

well it's 32% on the ring itself, 5% from berserk, and then an additional 15% of that 37% because of divine and the passive on the ring so all together about 43%. and thank you brother

25% less base damage my man, so it's actually only about 14% less actual damage without any additional modifiers. my hatchet build can exceed the base damage modifier cap by enough that sometimes I don't lose any damage at all. did a couple videos trying to help people understand the math of it better with some testing a while back

...barely anybody plays medium armor. NOBODY plays hatchet anymore, mecrow just did a tier list and called it the least used and worst weapon currently in the game. most people stopped using scorpion's sting when it got nerfed. NOBODY uses blooddrinker... brother I don't know what you think meta means, but this is about as far from the meta as it gets
