If you stand near the top of the shattered obelisk you can snipe skeletons non stop for 33 weapon xp a pop. Then when the two grey bar ones spawn next to you they give 66 each. That's how I got my musket up from 12.

Most important thing I learned from this video is that at level 60 the diminishing returns on lower level mobs for weapon mastery is gone. Kind of a strange choice by the devs imo.

It's the first thing I noticed at lvl 60.. I was killing deer for meet / skin and getting like 2 weapon exp, 0 rep.. now I'm back at 25 exp and 5 rep.. that's actually since considering you get almost nothing (but drop) for killing monster at 60.

@@nefczi2530 I'm sure this is intended. Running through low level zones is very important even at max lvl. You need more than tons of resources for your professions and these places are good for that and town board quests/rep which are a much bigger grind. This is an additional incentive to visit those places. But as he said, it's the easiest way to level your weapons, not the fastest. I prefer getting ~100 xp per kill and loot that will increase my watermark rather than 10xp/kill since I can't focus on videos while I'm playing even though it's brainless.

Great tips. Players are farming Elite 60+ zones not for weapon exp, they are doing it to increase watermark. In a few days you can get your GS up to 550+.

Been farming elite chests for a week now, my watermarks are at about 565, will need probably 1-2 week to get to 600

@@lewisdurrant8509 watermark(dumb name for the term)=the current gear score you aquire from loot. My watermark/gear score is 470. As you loot endgame mobs and chests you have a chance to loot an item that is higher gear score than anything you own. And that raises your watermark. You will never just loot a gear score 600+ if your gearscore is not within that high range. So you have to grind elite zones with luck attributed gear to loot items that incrementally increase your watermark. Just by picking up an item that has a higher gearscore than any item you've acquired before, you've jumped into the next bracket to then get higher gearscore than that item you just got.

6:15 im pretty sure you're just noticing them all doing the legendary weapon quests for being lvl 60 and 20 mastery because to get the components they take you on a world tour of the elite zones around the map

also if you wanna farm fireflies and wood dogs hit up the blighted wilds just north of edengrove you get like 4 fireflies ever other bulrush cob for some reason

I think I'm going to use this farm for weapons without aoe; are weapons have better farming spots I think where you can pull massive amounts of enemies then wipe. It may not be better but it's really, really satisfying and that feeling is worth the loss of xp lmao

I'm level 50 and I'm finding that a lot of the upper level Expeditions are ghosted. There are 0 people in the queue. So, I have a feeling that grinding those will be a no go. It may take forever to get from 50-60. There's a lot of dead areas in this game for those that haven't already blasted to 60.

Thanks for the info, I always assumed the weapon experience at 60 was meant to be farmed off of level 50- 60 mobs, thanks for the vid. And ... yes players get way to sweaty about new world and taking territory. On my server an enemy company we have a rivalry with, ended up getting so frustrated, they paid another company 2K IRL to take one of our zones, and it wasn't even a company from their own faction, so they didn't even get the zone. Then we took it back a week later, so not sure that was money well spent. People are nuts.

thanks for the tips hopefully they release a bit more pvp content soon, i get that people want to raise gear scores and all that after 60 but rushing to get 60 just to grind more mobs doesn't feel that rewarding, hopefully they bring out more pvp content so at least it feels like you're progressing in pvp and all the pve was worth it

A little tip for you, the animation cancel is only working when: pressing the button to equip/unequip just once. Additionaly I prefer farming for example leather (litteraly anything goes except maybe ores) while having a non 20 weapon is more efficient. Leveling weapons is the least problem you have in the end game to be honest

Those mobs only give 52 exp per kill and take 10x more hits than the ones in the video. They're also highly dangerous, don't respawn as fast, and have a lower mob density.

If I pull a whole round of mobs at the oceanview pirate place at restless shore i can get about 1100 weapon xp every 2 minutes. I know these spots are populated but its probably way faster however I don‘t know if you can kill 20 level 45 mobs with every weapon, I did it with Great Axe, Hammer and Hatchet

Attributes are St: 346 Dex: 25 Int: 5 Focus: 5 Const: 65 My question is, how do I max out my strength so that I move out of the yellow bar into the blue? Is it just a Respec or something else? Great, I am using this area before I even saw this video, but it only works when your level 60. Don't forget it gets mind numbing. But I'm here for 4 to 6 hours a day until all my weapons are lvl 20.

One thing I've noticed with bow is if you sheath it too soon after a dodge it gives an animation stutter. Other weapons do not do this. If you wait till the haste buff is at 1 second to sheath it doesn't seem to do it.

The other quirk is with 1-2s left on cooldown with weapon swap haste buff you can trigger it early.
