New World: Void Blade Assassin Build (GA/VG)

What do you think - is a light void blade build possible? It's at least fun!

ive been playing this in medium.. more of a bruiser.. but vg scream, vb and orb.. but the damage is still high, can still play assasin often.. im just so not sure bout voidblade, sometimes its so good, sometimes it sucks so bad.. dunno. also the healing, so different and unreliable.. sometimes alotta healing, sometimes almost none

Yes, you’ll just need to make sure you’re using 725 GS equipment to get the most out of it!

I like a lot Void Blade but I don't play it because it misses 50% of all attacks. The tracking is terrible.

I LOVE the fact that there are players trying new things. Especially when it comes to void blade - I know they mentioned some light melee buffs coming soon, and they've been trying to juice up void blade a lot. Could be huge down the road. Thanks for sharing this, ima try it out.

Hey, great vid :) I don’t have it yet but do you think Lifetaker would work well for voidblade? Would probably have to use a rapier or something else that scales with int though I imagine

I’ve seen a few builds with rapier and VG, but most of the dps comes from the rapier in those I’ve seen. Test it out, worth trying!

Been running abyss and vg and have been getting into PvP… def gonna try this out! I’m basically a noon in PvP and having some direction will be great !

It’s definitely a lot of fun! These light builds take a lot of practice though, especially light melee…but devs have made hints about buffing light melee so who knows! No idea how they would do that though…

@@Savvvo yeah I guess if you had any suggestions on a sort of “dumbed down” build with maybe medium or heavy armor I would be very interested haha

50 STR might be ok. I want to try rupture with it. Bring back the void jump exploit AGS 😂

i would recommend taking off tethered focus, having low mana procs the abyss passive for the GA artifact

Yes, I think it’s possible for sure, lots of customization options out there. Lots of people like playing IG/VG too.

How would 300 int 300 con work in light with void blade 😅? What are your thoughts?

It’s worth trying out! I do like 350 INT though for the extra ability damage, helps with the abyss chase too (charge and reap)

@@Savvvo the only reason to try the 300 300 split I was thinking was that way you could pretty much run all magnify pieces haha. So cheap way to try out the build I guess

I run a similar build with execute and IG made a video on it if you wanna check it out. Also would recommend 50 focus instead of 25 dex as the 10% incoming healing bonus also applies to all the leeching this build has.

also you don’t want to take the mana perk on tether since the abyss doesn’t want to have full mana

You can use this for PvE and PvP. Would just use dif GA perks if using PvE probably, but can be used for both. I ran a few mutations with this and it was fun!
