Really enjoyed it. I'm worried about how much of a grind it will be to unlock all the attachments. I noticed I didn't level up my guns very much in the 3 hours I played, and you can see those weapon levels are how you will unlock the attachments. We were just given everything to test everything.

100% with you bro, they really need to delay this game. I'm worried with all the changes COD is making and the amount of content people will be making on the new MW3, can really affect Xdefian player base. If they do release in October then I hop Ubisoft is ready for some low numbers initially and once the COD cycle takes effect people will come to Xdfiant for sure. I know for myself I'll be supporting this game and hopefully use it alot for my controller reviews.

XDefiant doesn’t stand a chance if it launches right around the same time as MWIII. Even people that “hate” COD will be playing MWIII over XDefiant if they launch at roughly the same time.

@@theitechlabIt really depends because they’re quite a bit of people that won’t have money at day 1 release to buy MW3 so xdefiant will be a good ice breaker to capture the audience for someone who wants the cod experience maybe but doesn’t necessarily have the budget for it . Just some food for thought.

I Xdefiant released close to the COD release, and their game works. It's a win-win for Xdefiant. You know MW3 is going to be an absolute mess at launch, and they will ignore feedback about problems and take a vacation instead of fixing it. It'll fuel the hype train for X even more.

I think cuz its a free game alot will still download it and play it, players dont need to chose between buying it or cod. It sucks it will release close to cod we hoped it didnt but if its a solid game, in the long run when cods hype starts cooling down xdef will gain more and more players after the holidays

MDR stand for Micro Dynamics Rifle designed by Desert Tech, its I think the only American Bullpup rifle, it started rough with too many problems but most of em are fixed and current rifles are truly Amazing, its one of the best Bullpups in the world atm

Yo! I played quite a bit. Ran into quite a few weird glitches, like not having a gun visible in my hand but still able to shoot. Also some awful lag or frame skips or packet burst or something. Overall though I had a really good time

i WANT a game i can latch onto outside of COD.. dont get me wrong, i still have a soft spot ( take that many ways ) for COD> ive played it.. 17yrs now ?? CW Zombies was just SO SO much fun.. i liked MW 2019 when they had the "Rumble" huge map warfare, similar to Invasion/Ground war, but, i think it was just a bit better, and, 32v32.. not 16v16 or 24v24.. whatever TF it is now. With "The Haunting" coming.. any MID October release, is gonna be hard to jump over to.. they should wait,, really.. maybe at least Christmas.. unless they have deals in place and NEED to release it early ?? i would wait.. keeping my eyes open for this game to launch. but, if Haunting is as good as the hype, and Zombies come back, thats really hard to tear me away to jump on Xdefiant and spend a LOT of time learning the game..

Honestly debatable what release window is best. If Xdeviant is a fully polished game released come November then it could work out against an (usually) unpolished Call of Duty; However, with (almost) every content creator/streamer full focussing on the new Call of Duty, it is almost guaranteed that xDeviant will fall on the background then. Honestly first quarter 2024 release would give the game a few more months in the oven and most likely also gain more media attention from aforementioned content creators/streamers right when "CoD fatigue" settles in

On the flipside a release this close to COD means call of duty is going to need to put out a good product with minimal BS. Otherwise people will have something to swap into. We may see some interesting growth waves with Xdefiant.

I think we’ve already seen COD be forced to make some changes in anticipation of XDefiant’s launch-content carry-forward, all the MP changes coming to MWIII, more transparent dev team, etc. Competition is great! With that being said, I think they need to wait to release XDefiant until next year in February or March at the earliest. Launching it at the same time as MWIII would be very rough for them I think.

Definitely had many hit detection issues with this test. Didnt notice at first but once i started paying attention i could definitely notice it. Also the corners issue as well but that also happens on COD so idk to me seems like still needs some work but overal i had fun

I agree about the launch. Dropping next to MW3 is a mistake. I always thought they were aiming to drop b4 CoD for a reason. might be a good idea to wait till Jan 2024. But then again, the hype is dying down. More delays might hurt them too.

I personally felt like hit reg got way worse. About 1/3 of my bullets seemed to just disappearing into the ether. The movement felt like i was wading through wet concrete compared to the last test.If someone is air strafing forget any sort of proper registration.

The most important thing. No SBMM. That is the biggest thing. In COD nothing matters. your K/D? your W/L? Have a game you tear up? Nothing matters in COD, its all a fugazi. Nothing matters. In COD your opponents, your bullet damage. your health. All manipulated. Its all pretend. And if you think you are good. You are then easily manipulated

Idk if it was just me, but I had extremely bad lag for the 2 hours that I played. I could still hold my own most of the time but it was confusing to me because I would consistently get 50-60 ping and it would give me network errors and packet loss constantly. I have good wifi and nobody else was on my network so idk what it wouldve been. I even restarted my pc and reloaded the game 4-5 times and still didn't fix it so.

I was only able to catch it for a good hour and a half, but I was running to Neko problems the whole entire time I was playing I was getting into gun fights where I was literally not getting no hit markers at all and there was times where I was in gun fights, and some of my bullets just didn’t register now I would say that from the less open beta that I didn’t really have that many problems from everyone else? But that hour of me just playing was the most terrible experience I’ve had.
