Kyle flying his brand new pre-production Xnova Lightning 4030-1000 KV motor. This motor was designed especially for the SAB Raw Piuma to run on either 6s or 7s batteries, this motor offers the most balanced KV in the market for this helicopter!

What’s your setup on that heli Kyle and Bert beside the XNova 4030-1000. and BK servos. What’s the ESC, what’s the battery size and how much RPM . Most of all ,what’s the pinion can you best use that 3Dstyle of flying. Thanks in advance! BTW… AWESOME flying guys as always! 😁

So I just received the puima from helidirect and I am not a 3D pilot but bought this to just sport fly at my local club. I want to run 6s what motor and esc combo would you recommend for that style of flying that would provide good flight times? Thanks in advance 🙏

I'm wondering what this motor would do on the raw 580 on a 7 or 8s setup.

It would work very well, but at lower head speeds, the 580 size machines are meant to run at 2000+ with 2000 being the minimum really for good performance. The Piuma is meant to run at 1800-1900 with 2000 being max.

@@BertKammerer both amazing machines. Running the 4025 1120kv in my raw 580 at the moment. Has plenty of power at 6s might give 7s a try.

@@RubenRC94 Best motor right there for the 580. If you bump to 7s, you might need to use a smaller motor pulley, but you can try it first. It will scream :)

Batteries should last about 30 flights before getting worn out, lol. Even my 580 on 6S @2000rpm is hard on the batteries!

You must be overflying the batteries or you’re flying value packs. We fly with telemetry so always land when there is still 20% left on the packs. I have gotten easily over 100 flights on a setup like this. All day long.
