👍, yes i watch Kim/Ginger tho not on a regular basis. Im gonna have to checkout micheals craft smart sometime. Bang for buck is important to me unless its a project i desparately need to make, 😊. That Kim girl sure has given me food for thought! Btw, i was reviewing some past vids of yours n i just love the argyle blocks blanket❣ i did get some redheart blue color pooling to do panels with solid panels inbetween, in my inbetween projects. 😁 I just love the blocks even better, must be the color choices you did that attracts me so much more. We'll see what i end up with in the end?! Currently i too am working with amigurimi of sorts. Mjne is a plant. I found this tutorial on dragon scale leaf. Alot of instruction that i had to write down n ofcourse i screwed up several times but getting thru it. Im using a smaller hook for the stiffness n the wire helps too. Five leaves done n working on a sixth. Turning out bigger than i thought so a bigger pot will be needed which i have but oh what color pot will i use! 😂 Also i started colious plant! Now that is colorfull! Whats great is almost any colors works as those plants come in multitudes of colors so you can tailor the choices for an arangement. When these get dusty they can get a quick wash n air-dry back jn the pot plus a spritz of good smell stuff to scent the room!! Let me explain: i cannot keep a live plant in my house to save my soul!. Outside yes but not inside. Old house too cold in the winter, 🤨. So i was excited to find these patterns. Yes, there are fake plants to buy which i have one (wisteria tree) but the cats attack play with it. So mabe a crochet one they will leave alone? Plus i get to make it❣ How are you feeling? I don't get to yarn to much during the summer. Summer projects and garden take up my time. Also it gets hot working with the yarn. You know when your fingers are warm and the hook feels find of sticky and the yarn doesn't slide well. Constantly washing hands and the hook off. 😅

I love my Susan Bates twist n locks soo much that I have 3 or 4 sets just to have extra handles. I put a hook and a cutter on if I am using 2 different sizes I drop the hook in under the cutter

I bought those Susan Bates twist and lock hooks because my hands go to sleep while I crochet with smaller hooks and the ergonomic handle was a great solution, but over the course of making seven twin size blankets for my family the jelly-like substance that makes the handle comfortable disintegrated and I ended up tearing it off and just using the hard handle. It still gives me something larger to hold onto, but I was disappointed in the quality. Side Note: As soon as I saw that lemon drop variegated yarn with the pale yellow skein I thought it would make a great bag! I can't wait to see it.

Yes! I’m so glad I picked them up! Yes, 3.99 is the regular price. When they are buy one get one half off, they are 3.99 ($4) and 1.99 ($2). That comes to $6 for two which averages out to $3 a skein. I was doing the math in the moment so I didn’t explain myself very well. Sorry about that. 😁💜

They are changing the craftsmart to the loops and threads. That green is a neon color and those have always been in the smaller skeins like the vergiated yarns. Sugar and cream cotton, and the red heart scrubbies are also being switched to loops and threads brand in michaels. Same stats same colors just different names.

I'm pretty sure the Red Heart Delightful has been discontinued. I was able to get a skein on clearance a month or so ago, but nowhere has it now, not even the Yarnspirations website. I had wanted to make a small throw, but can't now. It seems many of the interesting colorways for color pooling are being discontinued. I've also been bad for my no-buy. I have enough yarn, but... I want to do and try new things! And the yarn I have just won't do. Haha. If it's for a specific project, I feel better/less guilty about getting more yarn.

Exactly! I want to try new things too. I just can’t resist good yarn. My Joann has a few skeins of Delightful on clearance you’re probably right in saying that it is being discontinued. What a shame. I love the texture and color of those variegated yarns. 😊💜

I find the craft smart to be very stiff. I was going to make a baby blanket with it, but it’s not soft at all.

I think it’s mostly because I watch on the television. It seems to pick up the ambient more. But it’s not a deterrent.
