I believe that the rub rails on the side of the bus are available from the bus manufacturer (Thomas in this case). I've seen others replace them in the area you have a need for them. It would certainly clean up the look along the side of the bus.

Looks great your moving along at a great pace it looks like, I was thinking as Simone else said put a logo where the old side door used to be or you can order rub rails new from Thomas or look around the scrap junk yards for some that might have old bus’s in their inventory and get them there since you really don’t need a massive full length piece (most you have to bring your own tools to pull the parts) or look at local farmers that might have an old Bus in their field, we see buses here in Nc all the time, they cut the tops off to use for hauling crops of tobacco leaves and sweet potatoes. And Julie! Girl you are a trooper to do the job of emptying the tanks. We are going with the composting toilet, but it’s going to mainly be hubby and our kids are in their 20’s and they are just too cool to go hang with us in a 40’ Bus! Lol

Sooooo... we are moving this project to South Carolina where we can build without Freezing our butts off!!! maybe we will see you someday in the highways and Byways of this great country...

Happy new year from the cold weather in Iceland... We shot so many fireworks in the capital Reykjavik on New Year's Eve that people were told to close the windows and stay indoors the next day, the pollution was so high in the air .. We love fireworks, there is no limit on how much you can buy so we go little bit crazy,hehe

If you cannot find the exterior trim for the door you covered up, you could use that flat area to paint in your logo.

With the number of people using the bus, I am surprised you did not keep the side emergency door. Especially since the rear sleeping area is going to be behind the kitchen area which can become a fire block if you get a kitchen fire.

Great job family....now that u have your spray foam was you thinking may be also spraying the floor also.or possibly putting down radiant floor.those floors can get very cold in the winter..thank u and keep up the good work..

You could put your logo in the spot where your door was. In the place where the trim is separated your logo would look great in there...almost as if you planned it on purpose. Or even the #10.
