Love your closet clean out!! I have heard Aritzia has great basics that have the thickness you were talking about. Also- I’m not sure if you’ve ever looked into this, but I feel like my closet changed for the better when I started looking into what “color season” I am in. This immensely has helped me declutter wardrobe pieces that don’t suit my natural color profile and buy clothes with colors that do enhance my natural completion, hue, and contrast. I feel like you are definitely somewhere within the spring or autumn palettes, as those palettes are both warm toned🤍

I went down the minimalist road before and be careful because eventually you might need to repurchase some things, and it can be an expensive way of living if you have to repurchase things in the future. I don't like overconsumerism but I'm in the middle between minimalist and consumer. Now I try to find storage for the things I don't use anymore and to purchase quality so it can last.

Also for stains, I know stains can feel annoying like it takes a little bit of effort but it’s worth it. What I do is get soap and I will spray the area with water then start scrubbing the soap into it. When I scrub for like 20 seconds, then I add baking soda. I’ve found this trick works on everything I’ve spilled so far

Love your tips for parting with clothes. I for some reason have a pretty strong emotional attachment to clothes and not so much other household items that I no longer use or love so I’m going definitely going to try this method. Spray n wash is awesome for stain remover. It’s not necessarily crunchy, but that’s what I have to use. I work with animals so my clothes get really dirty and it always works!
