Really enjoyed that video. Fun watching what goes on New Years in Budapest. Reminds me of the 4th of July (Independence Day) in the US.

There are no official fireworks on New Year's Eve in Hungary. ( Official fireworks is on 20th of AUG.) Only in private. From 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. the next morning. Fireworks larger than category 2 may only be used then. Firecrackers are prohibited. Fireworks rated higher than category 2 must be released in January. The remaining 1st and 2nd categories can be used throughout the year, but only on private land.

This was great. I'd love to have been there. You can either be safe or free, not both.

Viki, i need to ask an indelicate question, I apologise in advance. I have been shocked to learn recently that disposal of toilet paper is done by different means in some countries. For example, in Bulgaria a trash can is provided in the bathroom and this is where used paper is deposited. What is the situation in Hungary please? I have read about this online, but I can't find a definitive answer.

That's ok!😅 Rest assured that the toilet paper disposal situation in Hungary is the same as in the UK! 😃
