While watching the video I thought about how I love how it looks like many american books have a hard cover. I’m french and our only hardbacks are the ones that have pictures or illustrations in them. A friend of mine lended me a book from the US and the format is similar to yours. I LOVE the sound it makes, it’s so satisfying I constantly tap on it lol

Oh how interesting! Yes, I think most books come out in hardback first and paperback later. I actually prefer paperbacks because I think they feel better to hold (and they're way cheaper lol).
