New Years Heart Mandala Video by Susan Nelson

For this mandala you will need a heart shaped stone. I used a stone that I made using the Happy Dotting Company molds. If you don’t have one you can paint a four inch heart onto your surface.

I use DIY Mandala Stone white tools along with some standard metal tipped styluses.

I also use a micro stylus that is a 0.5mm embossing tool by Pergamano. Sold out at the moment but check back.

The paint colours I used are at the beginning of the video. If you don’t have the exact ones that’s OK! Go through your paint and match to the best of your ability.
A little white can easily lighten one to give you two tones :-)

Well, I just finished following your tutorial!! I am a beginner so it was definitely a challenge for me and I yelled at myself for messing up the rock many times with smears. But it is complete after two days and I really do love it. I went off script a couple of times, especially as I carried everything to the back … but I am a happy camper and I thank you so so much for taking the time to help those of us just starting. Another wonderful tutorial! I've wanted to try a heart for a while. I really like that you had an example of the colors on the black card stock, great idea! Your nude nail polish is very pretty. Do you know the brand and shade? Happy New Year.
