The flowers 🌸 and trees 🌳 were all so beautiful and definitely had a healing energy too. Hudson also loved walking and making new friends on our adventure.

Loved your livestream today. What a special treat to have Susan take you around Grammercy Park so we could all see it. She's so lovely and I do hope you're able to keep in touch with her. She's a very interesting lady. As for New Yorkers' reputation for not being friendly - that hasn't been my experience. I've been to NYC a number of times (last visit was spring 2022) and each visit, people have been helpful, friendly and kind.

Nice to see you and Susan become friends, she seems like your spirit sister. :) What a cool lady. Glad she is healthy again. It's not easy to get older and not have children or family to help you. I don't have kids either and very little family left, and so I empathized with her situation.

Hi James and Karla, I just discovered your channel and am happy to be a new subscriber! I just got back home a week ago, (to the San Francisco Bay Area), after taking my third solo trip to New York in the last two years--I just love it! I am older and thinking about possibly moving to Manhattan for a year or two and curious about all the neighborhoods. I have not yet explored Gramercy, but passed by it via taxi on my way to JFK when leaving Chelsea, where I was staying on this last trip. Susan was so kind to let you into the park and show you around. Thank you for this informative video. 😃

Sorry I have not been able to write for a time, like Karla and her laryngitis I got very sick in the last two weeks. I was able to participate a little in the chat while you guys where driving back from New Hampshire but with the change in weather, which has been one extreme after another, I just was not very well and still not a bit but thank you both some much for wonderful walk that was not only entertaining but heartfelt with a great walk in gramercy park with new channel friend Susan, who was such a sweetheart and whose story is captivating. Thank you so much for sharing these adventures with us and please Karla take care of yourself and may you guys stay safe cool and dry and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Oy Vey, my favorite Go-To couple, in New York, no less! So glad to learn about Karla's improvement! Haven't been to the NYC and Brooklyn area, since 1958! (I'm now 78 y/o!)
