New York City Mayor Eric Adams gave an update Wednesday on the protests over the Israel-Hamas war at Columbia University, saying outside agitators trying to create chaos had co-opted the demonstrations before the NYPD carried out arrests. There should be no lenience for outside agitators. They should face the full extent of the law and, for crying out loud, keep them in jail until their trial.

Police don't need to differentiate between students and outside actors. Once you break the law and destroy property you go to jail either way. It's easy to identify who are students from a jail cell, just call the school and check their records.

The FBI and Southern sheriffs used the term "outside agitators" to refer to Black civil rights demonstrators demanding the right to vote and attend unsegregated schools during the 1960s. Apparently Mayor Adams doesn't see the irony in using this same expression..

What happen to the peaceful and nonviolent protest that Mahatma Gandhi did that brought down the British rule of India. A guilt and shameful Hindu came up to Mahatma Gandhi and said in the religious war his family, his wife, daughter, and son, were massacred by the Muslims. He then massacred a Muslim family and felt deeply remorseful for what he had done. Mahatma Gandhi told the Hindu to find an orphan Muslim brother and sister whose parents were killed by Hindus and raises them as his family, but he must raise them in the Muslim faith.

All due respect with anyone's opinion, but it's amazing to see all the downplay with these protesters college kids, Sandy Outsiders let me tell you something to start in a week they they rehearsed us they were it's amazing how they got together to get the money to have for the tents to food coordination, they were all dressed alike even The Outsiders they're not, training anybody to do anything they're all with each other that's longer than a week dresses like songs everybody know the song and all this, I try not to blame it on the protester college that goes to the colleges, and when something really happens because it's getting bad it's and they're really being disrespectful to go to people's proms graduations interrupting and demand something that's in the United States, a ceasefire then they're not going to let the house just go which they should have let him go a long time ago , then I'll turn around the people be blaming everybody else then instead of taking care of the situation come this the United States all due respect and let me make this clear I'm not on nobody's side I'm a person of color I know where the holes the holes couldn't eat at the restaurants couldn't drink even from the water Freedom Writers for little girls went to school and were killed a bomb went off, but to have the tents at the demand that is just my opinion because it's like people act like they scared to say something or whatever like that I'm 61 years old it is what it is it's my opinion and it's really disrespectful, because now they're starting to fight with the USA kids and things like that and it's going to do something with them hostages let alone here in the United States the college kids are getting mad people are getting mad is there going to represent our country we're going to represent the United States I'm still trying to get things right in the Black Culture for getting treated that's better than any other race for the color of our skin come and stop trying to compare Rodney King , trying to throw Black Culture in there when racism is over 200 years I hope it be this up much uproar from all the Congress people saying let's negotiate let's talk and and all this like how you see it now when something happened tomorrow people of color make timer for any situation have a nice day that's my opinion
