P he was already in New York once and played poorly then same result in Carolina then was a backup in San Francisco. The only reason he’s doing well in Minnesota is because the offensive system there is great and has great wide receivers in Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison, a impressive tight end in TJ Hockenson and a good running back in Aaron Jones.

The Giants need to sign Darnold, trade there pick for 2 firsts, a 2nd next year, & whatever else we can get on top of that. Then we can try drafting Hunter if he’s available, the best players in the draft available. And we absolutely need to sign the best available G, & swing Tackle in FA along with a solid DT/end, and try picking up whoever we can to add depth. I’d also like to trade Banks. He clearly isn’t working out here, bet he goes somewhere else and plays great so why not try getting a 3rd rd pick for him for next year. That means next draft we would have 2 1sts, 2 2nds, 2 3rds. Setting us up for a big draft, and possibility of getting Arch or another QB to play behind Darnold and possibly take over in a season or 2 if Darnolds doesn’t play like he is this year.

If Darnold were considered a long-term solution, Minnesota would choose to re-sign him. The organization is familiar with Darnold's limitations, as he is already within their facility.

I think he is in the perfect QB Friendly system with the Vikings Kevin O'Connell and Wes Phillips play a major major part to his success with the Vikings. Just look at Kirk Cousins and how he looks right now with the Falcons and away from their System has something like 17 TD's to 15 INT's. With a possible top 2 draft pick, the Giants have 2 options. Option 1: sign Darnold (28yearsold), Possibly $50 million a year contract, and can draft a player like Travis Hunter (or trade back and get more picks). Nabers, Hunter as WRs and continue to focus on Oline and CBs Option 2: use draft pick for young QB you need to develop, use $50 million for other free agent signings Just depends what route they want to go with and how they view the available QB prospects

Marshall, I’m going to say pass, because we don’t have the same head coach as the Vikings do. If we get a new head coach, that knows how to coach, I would say yes. In addition, if we sign him, we can use our draft position to set up the future. Meaning more 1st round draft picks. Honestly, we have a lot of holes to fill. Fields may be a better fit in the terrible windy conditions of Metlife stadium. Fields can run with the ball better than any of the other choices. Many of the problems pf both the Jets and Giants is the wind at home that acts like the 12th man on defense and turns a good passing QB into an Average or below Average QB. I walked on the Field of the Old Giants stadium when some filming was being done for the Show Law & Order. and the wind felt like you were in a Gail Storm or worse. I then thought that Phil Sims could have been a much better QB if he played home games anywhere else besides this place. Metlife was built next door and I sat in that new Stadium and did not notice much difference in the Wind problems, although it is said that Metlife is not as Bad as the old stadium was.

I’ll pass on Sam Darnold. Giving him a big contract is basically having another Daniel Jones situation where you overpay a QB for just one good season. Best case scenario, he’ll be another Geno Smith where he gets a good contract, but won’t be good enough to lead a team to the Super Bowl.
