We now see the trickle-down effect when your old #1, 2, 3 & 4 wideout now bcomes your #2, 3, 4 & 5. Now that u have a batman at wideout, the Robin's can do their thing with confidence

Maybe Nabors could be another OBJ without the attitude. The rest probably did DJ good, instead of getting clobbered last year.

So Janiel Domes getting his ACL reconstructed was a positive.

Hey BDK, I would like your take on the offensive line. Do you remember back in '08 when Coach Tony Sparano dusted off Pop Warner's playbook by implementing the Wildcat or Single Wing? That offense was predicated by an unbalanced offensive line in front of the deceptive ground attack. Do you think a creative offensive line coach could consult with Daboll and Kafka about the possibility of deploying an unbalanced offensive line formation to offset injury and ineptitude? I'm not advocating for the Giants to run the Wildcat or Single Wing but to deploy the unbalanced offensive line formation. as a protection scheme. What do you think? My worry is that with the addition of Malik, if whoever is under center doesn't have time to get him the rock it will neutralize what he may bring to the table. Maybe a little deception in this offense starting with the offensive line and the newly acquired speed in the backfield could help, what do you think?

Great question. Wish I could answer it but I'll offer my own thoughts. Looking at the skillset of the oline as a whole (projected starters) AT is scheme friendly no matter what but for everyone else, I like the zone blocking scheme, especially to fit the skillset of the Center. It simplifies the assignments and could help with all the stunts and twist. Today got me excited because the worked in the redzone and the ball got out fairly quick. Get Jones timing down with the new guys while getting comfortable with the protection.

I know fans are going to hate me but Belton doesn’t break the starting lineup because although he makes interceptions, he doesn’t cover well enough regularly and gets torched a lot.

@@LukeRodriguez-d7e for a fraction of the time and that’s why he gets no play time. If he was consistent he’d be on the field more, he usually only gets played when someone gets hurt, in a pinch.. they talked about this at length last season

Man hyped for the offense but that secondary is still young and inexperienced or in the case of Holmes and McCloud avg at best
@BigDashKnows2 ай бұрын
That's why we gotta lean hard on the pass rush. Again let's see what happens once the pads are on. But a good day for the offense today from what I read.
@LukeRodriguez-d7e2 ай бұрын
What would you rank the front 7 for the giants out of all teams. Also do you think singeltary is being underrated
@BigDashKnows2 ай бұрын
Front 7 alone is top 10 or higher. Singletary is underrated because of his predecessor. I think he'll have a productive year.
