I think his game is more set for the NBA game. His potential is through the roof. I’m a UK fan, so his weakness become real evident to me early. The only problems With his game would be that (1) he settles for jump shots way to much (doesn’t drive much), (2) he’s not comfortable with his left hand in games, and (3) he can be really soft and lacking aggression (doesn’t play to his size too often). These are minor fixes that he can change in the league though. Wish dude luck cause he can be great in the league for a long time if he wants it.
@davedaniels58746 жыл бұрын
Legin same thing I was saying bro, right on the money. he was much more aggressive in HS, maybe because his shot wasn’t as good but at UK, he settled way too much and didn’t really use his size. he played like a 6’9 SG.
@hugorannou37166 жыл бұрын
Legin does he slow? Because in the tape he looks extra slow
@brodiestephens4196 жыл бұрын
Yep this is an excellent assessment. I'm Australian, so I've got no college bias whatsoever and I think you've nailed it. As a Sixers fan... I'd be seriously happy if we took him at number 10, but I have a feeling he'll be off the board by then. I see a lot of Paul George and young Rudy Gay in his game. He's got an amazingly feathery soft touch on his outside shot AND in the lane. He can learn to become more aggressive and most guys will improve their explosive athleticism with NBA strength and conditioning coaching. He does the same thing Ben Simmons did a lot in college and early in his rookie season in that he takes off a little too far out and avoids contact rather than taking one more step and dunking or finishing through contact. Simmons got better at that as the season went on.... no reason to think Knox couldn't do the same.

@terrancemiller38536 жыл бұрын
BigaloRantsTv _ lmfao no TF he's not 😂😂😂 if you prefer Knox bcuz of his age vs Mikal age & thinking he has more potential sure but what they are as players right now? Knox has no argument for actually being better than Mikal 😂 maybe more naturally gifted with more potential upside but NOT a better player at the moment
@akeilebrown_71116 жыл бұрын
im not a big mikal bridges fan. i understand where ppl who like him are coming from. but everybody comparing him to trevor ariza and otto porter saying he has the potential to be a really good role player. Idk why the knicks would want a really good role player. I want someone with at least all star potential
@iblameabel6 жыл бұрын
Terrance Miller you don’t know what you’re talking about, I agree overall Mikal>Knox rn, but offensively Knox is better, offense comes more naturally to Knox. Mikal has way higher floor, but imo Knox has the higher ceiling due to his frame and natural skill offensively. Mikal is more of an athlete, although his defense is filled with pure fundamentals which for some players can’t be taught for some reason.

G.A.B. Yes yes yes. Been trying to tell people Knox is the Tatum of this draft. Sexton is the best PG. Bamba or JJJ will be the best big. Idk how Ayton will do, I guess you have to draft him on talent alone, but that 50-50 makes me worry. While I get nothing but excitement thinking about Bamba's upside. JJJ is the darkhorse, but I am 1000% sure he'll become at least a star. I've warmed up to Luca, but I think it needs to be the right situation. Ayton Bamba Luca JJJ MP Jr Bagley Knox Sexton
@brodiestephens4196 жыл бұрын
Yeah I completely agree with all three of those statements. I've been really high on Bamba right from the start. Not only does he have ridiculous physical tools.... but he's really intelligent, doesn't think he knows it all, and will learn and adapt very quickly. Sexton seems like the kind of personality that will shine on the big stage. Knox has all the tools to be a versatile, complete player once he puts it all together and gets elite NBA coaching.

"too high" was the thought about Mitchell. NY Front office was deciding between Smith, Frank, and Monk but had worked out Mitchell and liked him a lot but it was considered "too high" to pick him at 8 last season. Sometimes it is better to reach 5 spots for the player YOU think will be better
