New York Knicks Legend Walt "Clyde" Frazier as the Mystery Guest on What's My Line? (1973)

For all the basketball history buffs out there, and especially for fellow Knicks fans. I commiserate with all of you Knicks fans and our lack of success besides short spurts these past 20 years or so. So let's look back at a simpler time. Walt "Clyde" (earneing the Clyde nickname for his fashion sense, with a teammate saying his look reminded him of the fashion in the 1967 movie "Bonnie and Clyde") Frazier appears as the Mystery Guest on this episode of What's My Line? in 1973, right around when the New York Knicks won their second NBA championship. This is actually Clyde's second appearance as the Mystery Guest, having made another appearance in 1970 after the Knicks won their first championship (and if you have that episode in full, PLEASE get in contact with me as I have been dying to have that episode for well over a decade+).
Of course, to most modern Knick fans, Clyde is known as the wonderful and beloved color analyst for local Knicks broadcasts on the MSG Network with "The Voice of the NBA", Mike Breen, as well as sometimes Kenny Albert. But if you're a basketball historian, Clyde is more than that, not only one of the greatest Knick players of all time (if not the greatest), but one of the greatest point guards the league has ever seen. And his fashion sense off the court made him a pop culture icon in the 70s. The guy wrote a book about how to be cool, for pete's sake!!
