But, this year along with mosquitos galore & in abundance throughout the whole state here. The Bees and all kinds of Bees & Hornets we have had an abundance of & rise of Bees. I love Bees & how they are so. vital to us & to pollinate. And if there are " no Bees . No food. "But, more & more people are getting allergic to Bees too. So, for many people. I live in Florida and hardly ever go out, yet had two very serious illnesses from 2 tick bites, about 5 years apart. Add that to our State bird the mosquito, fire ants, termites, powder post beetles, wood boring beetles that kill all your trees, carpenter bees, carpenter ants, red tide, sharks, flesh eating bacteria and an occasional gator. And let us not forget cockroaches. Florida is a paradise for parasites.

This year in the past 2 months I have honestly have used 9 cans of Off & Deet Mosquito Sprays .I am outside almost every day. And let me tell you . Mosquito Sprays have not worked for me. Try cutter brand spray or the liquid with an applicator in reducing bites. Or use Burt's bees skin products like their salves and creams. If one can get Avon skin-so-soft oil that is a known mosquito bite preventer.

Have u tried wearing long sleeved shirts and spraying repellant on the clothes? So u wont need to wear sweatshirts or spray on skin. Also taking vitamin b1 and/or garlic is effective for some in repelling insects (maybe in repelling people too though with the garlic).

Sigh…. Any chemical can cause issues to people who have sensitivity to them - even just plain water. If you’re one of those people, you’ll need to look for an alternative. I would suggest talking to your doctor to find something more suitable for you. But as for the warnings about being flammable? I’m sorry, but you don’t know what you’re talking about. They have that warning because the *_PROPELLANT_* that’s in those sprays that makes them spray is flammable - that’s how those propellants work. Hair spray is the same way. Anything that you don’t have to pump with your hand is that way, because those are the only gases that work well enough to act as a propellant and not take up all the space used by the product you’re spraying. They could use something like compressed air instead, but then you’d be griping about how you’re paying all that money for a can that’s 90% full of one of the most common gases in the plain old ordinary air you breathe and only getting a couple tiny squirts of the actual chemical you’re buying it for. It hurts seeing so much confident ignorance in the world today - it’s physically painful. I don’t want you to live like that, and I most certainly don’t want anyone else who’s exposed to it to think you know what you’re talking about and believing everything you say without checking with someone who’s educated about it first, because that’s dangerous for civilization itself.

No that is a separate illness in horses. Equine Encephalitis is mosquito transmitted . We vaccinated for both yearly in central ny for many many decades in horses with the veterinarians I worked with. I lived 1/2 mile from NYS EEE collection lab. Like most things including rabies been around forever just gets more clicks when you sensationalize it.
