98% of graduates are employed within 6 months..not sure why you included that they dont help u find jobs in the vid

In their respective fields of study or flipping burgers? Nothing wrong with flipping burgers, really just curious as to what your question is getting at

moviedude22 Yeah that's what I'm thinking. They always say "employed" as if that means something. Anyone can get a job in retail or at Starbucks. But do 96% of them have real jobs in their field? I doubt it.

ShanteRoxxane it’s better than 50% employment at other schools

i agree that’s bs. I graduated from NYU and I can assure you nowhere near 98% are employed. Maybe 40-50% are employed in the field of their choice. Most people have to be realistic and take what they can get.

This guy was a theatre major. It’s vastly easier to help someone find a job at a big company than it is to consistently book your former student in roles they want. The field itself prohibits being able to place people in jobs, which is why he mentioned it.

What did you study Macrame, or basket weaving ? At $70k a year including board you should have made better use of your time there. They are not going to spoon feed you.

N.Y.U. teaches you to think? I thought that thought was a natural human capability. Don't you mean "what to think"?
