New York Vlog | Part One.

I will have two Vlogs for my trip to New York as I managed to explore so much I wanted to share it all. In part one I explore places like Madison square park, The Flatiron, Times Square, The Highline and Grand central. In part two I explore Top of the rock, Dumbo and walk the Brooklyn bridge.

It was so much fun watching you enjoy NYC Catherine!!! Being from NY State I love getting down there as much as possible. Day 1 & 2 you definitely saw some great places...wish I had watched your vlog sooner on what you were packing so I could have forewarned you on the shoes!!! Glad you took the subway though...many are very leary of it and I find it to be the best thing ever!!! Curious to see how it was for you to get used to the traffic as they are crazy in NYC. When I was in Ireland it was so hard to remember that traffic was coming the opposite way so I can only imagine how it was for you to see all that and then acclimate to it!! By the way...we all don't drive like that here in America!! Next time you definitely must take the subway to Central Park as you would love that beyond belief!!! Is like your Phoenix Park or St. Stephens Green but smack dab in the middle of the city!! Can't wait to see your adventure to Brooklyn and DUMBO!!! Next time you are coming to NYC let me know and I will give you some really cool places to take in that are off the beaten path!! Slainte'

Aw thanks Kathy! The traffic seemed crazy, I was tempted to rent a city bike but I didn't in the end. I also took the bus! I found the subway great, much easier to use than the London tube. Iv just finished editing tomorrow's video which is Day 3/4 can't wait for you to see x ❤️

Thanks immensely Catherine for your correspondence. I would love to do holiday in Dublin. As a vocalist, I included "Oh Danny Boy" in my repertoire. Loved seeing sightseeing through your eyes. Your choice of shoe wear was very brave for the amount of walking you did. I travel to NY every year to see the Christmas show at Radio City. The Redbury Hotel is very nice, but way out of my price range lol

I loved that hotel. The location was amazing, walking distance of so much. Walk to Madison square park and get a shake shack and sit and watch all the people go by at the flatiron. Have a lovely trip!

Nope, everyone was lovely and it is such a safe city. Even in the evening. Much safer than other cities I have been to. I mainly stayed in Manhattan.
