Would not shock me. But neither the Dodgers, nor the Guardians will fade away easily. Neither will go quietly into the night.

So Ben... You were saying about Buehler?
@elijahsmith43593 ай бұрын
Ben while I would normally agree with you, the reason wells hasn’t moved is because teams are attacking lanes of Soto-Judge-Wells or Wells-Stanton-Jazz with a lefty reliever any chance they get. So while two out of those 3 are left on left your basically guaranteed a Judge or Stanton at bat vs a lefty reliever

Everyone realizes that the Dodgers are shorthanded with their pitching. They don't have to pitch up to the level they did the last two games of the Padres series or the first game against the Mets. They just have to simply pitch well enough to keep the team in the game and not spot the Mets an early six run lead like they did yesterday. Insofar as Yankees-Guardians, totally agree with you about moving Austin Wells down in the order. Think he is on a 1 for 30 clip or something like that. Giancarlo Stanton needs to hit behind Judge whether that means batting cleanup or putting him fifth with Torres, Chisolm or Volpe, Soto, and Judge ahead of him. For the Guardians, Josh Naylor has to get his bat going. Otherwise the Yankees will just pitch around JRam.

Walkers start was a bit misleading. There were a few plays there that changed the outcome of that inning. Freeman's ball that hits manny on the infield grass, Rojas not flipping the ball to lux for the sure out instead going for 2. The dodgers gave up a couple free outs that inning and the baseball gods demand runs for that. With that said, I'm still not totally comfortable sending buehler out again lol he's capable of putting up some good innings, but things can go wrong too. It's a coin flip now and dodgers really have no other choice but to flip that coin

only one of the league championship series is interesting, the guardians following in the tracks of the braves looking like a team desperatly seeking a 3 month vacation. guards resemble the dodgers with no starting rotation but without the big offense, will go down to yanks in 5. metros will jettison l.a. in 6

Your thoughts. Ohtani is batting really good with RISP but real cold when bases empty due to mostly chasing bad pitches, would you move him to 3rd or clean up? What's your offense line up be for Dodgers?

As much as I understand putting Knack out there, that means high expectations for Walker. Is he that guy we have full trust in this season tho?
@Stefan-od1wc3 ай бұрын
Agree that Mets have a momentum and will be favourites in game 3. But that means they must win game 3, not Dodgers who will have Yamamoto in game 4. So if Dodgers somehow win game 3, they will probably win game 4 also, and that would be huge adventage

Admittedly I'm a Fransisco Lindor hater, but he definitely should be as a finalist over Mason Wynn

I don't think they had a lot of options, but given one of the pitchers was not going to be available, I would have gone with Buehler. A better chance at winning and its much better to work from 2 wins than 1

But haven’t Yankees had the same lineup most of the year?? And Judge was hitting. So it’s a good possibility he just sucks when the pressure is on 😅

I, as a beleagured Mets fan, just want us to win out at Citi Field, I have had enough heart attacks in the past 15 days, which has reduced my life span by atleast 3 years minimum. anyways it also proves, one person can't carry it alone, Be it Lindor or Ohtani, you need the collective to do their job. Finally LFGM.... and Lord Grimace watch over us till world series, hopefully

So Ben, do you still think the Dodgers bullpen is "not good" or are you gonna take that back?

Guess you could say that bullpen games in the post-season have a knack (pun intended) not to work.😆

Sometimes pitching gets got, we saw that with Skubal, unfortunately we saw that with the Dodgers bullpen, they can bounce back... Buehlers defense let him down, why is everyone ignoring that? Oh look Ben counting the Dodgers out after they beat the Padres... Which you didn't address being wrong... I wonder why... Why do you hate the dodgers so much... Let's talk about the Mets bad start game 1 but you don't want to go in depth about that either huh strange
