In the last 150 years we have experienced mass extinction, huge deforestation, destruction of swamps, more introduction of pests and water pollution. We have many threatened or endangered animals and not enough is being done to preserve what we have left. If people knew what New Zealand actually looked like compared to now they would be shocked. I get triggered just walking outside lol. I hope it will return to a better state in the future :)

I'm a born n raised Aucklander (north island of NZ) ... I've been twice to the South Is. and it is my favourite part of NZ. Not to say the North Is. doesn't have it's beautiful sceneries. This made me miss New Zealand! I have been traveling away from home/NZ for the last 2 years and have not spend quality time enjoying or thinking about what i miss about life there... Tekapo is an air sanctuary so all the lights are low level and facing down. It means the stars are so bright and clear and there's a hotel with glass in the roof where you can watch the stars.
