Hi guys! Welcome back to the channel again, warm spring so far with some sprinkles, no big deal!
Well, we finally witnessed the good size peanut shape supercedure cell today and ready to split it and take it away for hatching and mating.
Like I said at the beginning, we will have to start slow and steady, hopefully this new nuc can have their queen really soon and so we can have 2 hives by the end of the season!
As you can see there area multiple supercedure cell and some of them already filled with royal jelly (food protein that needed to raise a queen bee).
At the end of the day, I have scrapped them off and not to take any chances on the main hive as it might potentially swarm on yourself if you miss out a few.
