Good Thing whilst in New Zealand to do, would be both of you going to a Skin doctor and get a mole map and face check. The UV's down these ways are extreme. Always use good quality sun block!

Lovely video. The changing of that shackle was epic. The hand saw, not so much. You didnt say how long it took. Changing a rusted shackle on land is a huge undertaking but underwater???, you THE MAN!
@SailingOneLife3 күн бұрын
Ha, yeah that was an interesting task. It actually didn't take as long as we thought. Gary was able to do it with just one scuba tank and it took about an hour.

I'm writing to you FROM the original redwood forest area. Believe it or not, we would call those toothpicks. That said, its really good to see them flourish there as the logging companies have cut the original "Old Growth" forest except for the ones still living in Parks. They can be two to three thousand years old and are the tallest trees in the world !

When on a night watch, what are you "watching"? Computer screens? Silhouettes? What else can you see?
@laurence96959 күн бұрын
Looking out for lights, light houses, lights that aren't where they should be. Anything unusual or out of place. Your night vision can help you see pretty well.
@garywacaser62309 күн бұрын
Other boats travel at night with lights. It is good to be alert and steer clear of other vessels too.
