I agree. It’s arguably the best piece of fielding I’ve ever seen in my life. From side on, with one stump too aim for, he hits the wicket on the full from 35 yards out. Larsen doesn’t even try to catch it!

David Boon made centuries in the first & 8th match that Aussies played against NZ & WI respectively. Ramiz Raja followed the same pattern & made centuries against WI & NZ in the 1st & 8th match Green shirts played. Both Australia & Pak lost first of the league matches but won their last. Amazing stats.

And not many know that West Indies beat Pakistan by 10 wickets while three batsmen played the innings and West Indies did not loose a single wicket. . Brian Lara the Man of the Match was retired hurt after Wasim Akram yorked his toes that created his woes. 😄😄😄

It was very difficult to beat NZ in 1992 world cup. Pakistan did it in semi final. Mark Greatbatch, opening Batsman of NZ, played really well. Man of the series was Martin Crowe if I am not mistaken.
