The more I see from NewAge..the more I would be inclined to just stick to them for a majority of legends characters. Magic Square just isn't hitting the same recently. There is some real intuitive design with New Age that I think works heavily in their favor.

I think that as of right now, the only thing that NewAge failed on is Devastator. Meanwhile, Magic Square has had some dropped balls after they finished their Menasor...and their Ultra Magnus is one of those.

NewAge is hit or miss to me as the only thing I really like from them are the materials used and the paint. I only have their Optimus Prime, Skyfire / Jetfire and the Dinobots. With Ultra Magnus, I went with MechFansToys take on him as he's half the cost and there's no parts forming. I used to collect Magic Square but sold all my figures as I really hate the materials they use. I do have their takes on Masterpiece Optimus Prime though as I think they make the best looking Optimus Prime. Now, they just need to do the same for Megatron as I also think their take on him is the best.

Awesome figure i really love how New Age designed this Ultra Magnus to look like the cartoon, i'm quite impressed with the core robot mode it looks almost perfect besides the fake chest. It's frustrating with how NA Ultra Magnus looks better in robot mode than NA Optimus which looks so messy, unclean and ugly in both modes due to all the unnecessary remolding from Magnus.

That difficulty accessing the Matrix in combined form...kinda seems like a slight bit of plain bad design, almost like the Prime chest window section is too low. 🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️ Otherwise, this is definitely better than Magic Square's Ultra Magnus offering.

I have only been collecting 3PMP figures, this review may change my mind. I was shocked by how small this figure is when your hands entered the frame. The truck cab was engineered by a wizard.

I used to scoff at legends scale figures and stick to MP But it's getting harder and harder to justify those prices . These are looking so much more appealing

I just got this figure (these figures?) a few days ago. It’s great! My only complaints are a couple of loose joints in the biceps and a REALLY LOOSE left wheel arch. Other than that, it’s a high quality legends scale piece. If his hands could fold away and articulate, it would be at masterpiece level.

Considering the quality of a lot of these Newage and MS figures, I kind of regret building my entire collection around MP and CHUG scale figures. There are so many genuinely great figures in Legends scale, they take up way less space, and it's a far more practical scale to build dioramas for. If I had to do it all over again I'd drop CHUG scale entirely, make legends my main focus, and only buy MP scale figures of longtime favorite characters.

Hes basically a mini-masterpiece imo the paint and engineering is exceptional very nice work for a legends ⚖ figure, the fake chest was used 1st with the dx9 ranton its ok I don't mind it, 🙏🙏 for 📹 Sony, I po'd Optimus Prime 2 months ago he looks like a miniature Mp-44 really looks AWESOME, Mangmotion had their 🌎 premiere for the newage Optimus and man is he impressive 😀 😉 👍...thanks again Sony 🙏🙏😃👍
