Just a heads up, the painted red on the chest is for a matrix gimmick. You can fold that open to the windoe cut on the core bot which also opens up allowing the matrix to be removed in magnus mode.

I have two copies of the cab mold (Nemesis & delta magnus) and I've never had issues with the flanks tabbing in on either, so most likely this is just a bad copy

Hey Bobby! About the ankle rocker, it does have it but it's in a weird way. There is a slight gap in the front part of the toes that allows it to tilt. it's definitely difficult to notice at first. Hope this helps!

At 5:50 that piece isnt supposed to click or tab. The tail light/faux gas cylinder has a gap behind it so that the tab that holds the legs together hides behind it. You're supposed to shift the entire hinge forward so it clears it. It's in the instructions. Both legs have the sliding hinge but only the right leg has the tab. Also arm rotation does matter a little for Ultra Magnus mode. The arrows should be facing up so the arms lay flatter on the shoulders. It still works in other orientations too though and the way you did it allows for the missile launchers to attach on either side of the head. The waist armor tabs in pretty snuggly on mine, you just have to really press them in and not hold the waist when posing it to avoid knocking it out. And the legs have complete mobility as long as you move out the under skirts as well.

So Bobby the flanks on mine were the same is issue on this particular figure are that the screws in the side were so loose they almost fell out once tightened no more issues and it only seems to be the ultra Magnus as I have the nemesis the sg and the prime and none have that issue but mostly same mold

I agree. The all in 1 magnus just works better. They never show him without his armor in the series so making it that way as a with or without armor figure is pointless

Thanks for the review Bobby! Your comment regarding an all inclusive Magnus working better in general, are you thinking of the MP or the old KFC deaign? I guess we'll find out when the new XTB design is released which hopefully will do the character some justice, but i thouht the MP not having a waist swivel means that an all inclusive Magnus doesnt necessarily work better than an armour set. More of a debate regarding preferance and function perhaps.

The biggest things that bother me about this mold is the visible white Prime arms and hands when you look down at the combined Ultra Magnus, and that the feet and upper legs of said white Optimus Prime aren't completely covered up. Like you still see Prime's upper legs even with the covers, and that little bit of the feet that doesn't cover up the toes. Honestly though, the first thing with the visible arms is the biggest gripe really...reminds me of the Power of the Prime Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime with his visible arms for Hot Rod when turned into Rodimus Prime.

I heard that you missed the ankle rocker... I think it's incredible that they packed this level of engineering into such a small figure. Still the all in Magnus from MS and MFT is a better way to do it imo. Nostalgia factor is through the roof on this thing though! Extremely cool toy.

Nah, this figure is very well engineered and finished. He may not have done the best job showing that but I got my hands on it and I'm very impressed with it. I havent had quite as many hiccups as he does in the video maneuvering and transforming it

There's a lot of stuff you missed, like the ankle rockers, side abs not being fully flushed, the armor skirt not tabbed properly to the prime waist and the leg armor not properly tabbed as well.
