Helllooooo NEPAL! So since I was staying in Kathmandu I decided to try and focus on the Newari Cuisine. The Newar people are the historical inhabitants of the Kathmandu Valley and its surrounding areas in Nepal, so I felt like this would be the right thing to do. Let's just say I made the right decision as I ate my way through a cuisine which I was mostly unfamiliar with, I found myself enjoying so many delicious spice packed dishes. Not to mention the friendly people, gorgeous scenery and history that was surrounding me. I hope you all enjoy this video and look forward to the others I have coming out soon!!! Much Love, Max McFarlin

I don’t usually comment on/like videos....I’m a KZbin creeper! But this was SO cute!! I love seeing people try Nepali Newari food for the first time and love it! Man, after watching this I got so hungry and I just ate dinner! My husband is Newari and we live in Nepal but we don’t eat that good stuff on a daily basis. That’s like party food for us, lol. You did the KTM food tour RIGHT. Much respect for that positive and in-depth review of the vibrant and intense Newari cuisine. Newari people are all about feasting, BBQ-ing, and drinking (with plenty of meaty, salty, savory, fried, tangy, greasy, crunchy, multi-textured, spicy drinking snacks, of course). Thanks for helping introduce so many more people to Newari food!
