For those of you who were and impressed at Trump for donating $400k salary... 127k to 164k per day for Protection. I'm sure these numbers have risen. Golf trips 72m. Trips to Maralago as of 4/5/19 are at 72m. President Obama spent in an entire year what Trump spends in a month!!! Do the math. God bless Miss Oprah and those who Can and Do in the things that matter!
@robertwright42205 жыл бұрын
Oprah only did this because she’s trying to get out the dog house for throwing MJ and black men under the bus. That’s all! I am glad these children are able to benefit, but let’s see it for what it is. Oprah has been wealthy for two decades and has major clout and has done very little for black people. This is all marketing, but again, at least real people will benefit.

That's a great story and apparently this is the replacement for community centers like the ones that I had when I was young. We should have to rely on billionaires but politicians don't work for communities like this. It has probably save lies and saved people from getting caught up in law enforcement issues. Two great stories this morning including the billionaire at Morehouse and once again we shouldn't have to rely on billionaires but wealth inequality
@ericworiax12775 жыл бұрын
I agree that we shouldn't have to rely on the wealthy. We each like the principal here,who I'm sure isn't wealthy must do our part. Then when we look at what's changing we know we're part of that change not just watching someone else's money alone make necessary changes in the lives of our communities.

“What do politicians not get?” Education is the largest percentage of any school’s budget. That’s tax dollars, folks. How much more can your personally afford to pay? . If this solution comes from a politician, ALL schools need to receive funding. And, this is accompanied by rules attached to programs created by politicians that often make implementing effective programs difficult to impossible. Politicians might mean well, but they don’t truly understand what’s needed. They can’t run schools any better than they can raise your children. There are liability issues. Blah, blah, blah. The very best way to create a program like West Side has, is to begin by truly knowing the kids and loving them. When I was working on my masters, many people shared possible solutions to various problems. What I already knew was, “You have to know the kids personally and you have to care deeply.” That’s why Akbar Cook is effective.
