Something i love about this series is how sonic moves like an actual player would, being careful doing those little bored dances when nothing is going on and all. Most sonic.exe videos make him move like a scripted robot with the only purpose to progress with the video

(Example is when he was scared to jump on the cloud object because a background sunflower was behind it, which made it look as if the cloud had spikes, amazing attention to detail)

I kinda liked how that one snail Badnik just died when Nick accidentally hit it's head when jumping upwards. I just really like how this all looks like an actual, original Sonic game for the Genesis, with new assets and everything.

The level design, and even the spritework, reminds me of Rayman, I love them. Also, I love how the first level is like, a semi-autoscroller, that is something that I don't think I've ever seen before, but now I want to see it used more! One last thing, I think it'd be really interesting if maybe later on (like, after you've finished the full story) you showed an "alt path," like choosing no instead of yes.

I really like videos like these and how they blend all of this really interesting gimmicks but so far my favorite stuff is the night green hill act and the part ish cut screens from sonic in this video where he talks to other characters, I wouldn't try too hard to make it scary but id look for parts that best moments of fear like when sonic feel into the hands of some giant being. Still really good job!

Have to thank KZbin for recommending this to me. I know this all looked verry hard worked on and rushed to let people get more into the sonic.exe thing that you are making. Honestly i was amazed with the sprites and the new gameplay you made. But here was my expectation when Sonic met him (the guy who wanted his light) and bring his light, he would repay himself by letting sonic kill, instead I was wrong and watching further, I noticed that Nick (Sonic) has to collect 3 crystals. So that will be about it and hope to see soon more content, don't worry, just don't rush, think carefully and decide. Also above there are options to pick from (as it is seen from the game up there, CD drive, help button, you know) and I was wondering if you we're using clickteam engine to create all of the environments? Would appreciate an answer to it, but if I am wrong, maybe you could tell what engine you used.

ANALYSIS: The first two photos were essentially video game posters. Nothing really much to say here. As for the ROM itself, now we have doomed to speak to the protagonist. He tells him to collect all 3 crystals (funny they chose that instead of the chaos emeralds) and that if he does, then he will be freed, otherwise he will face consequences. After this, the rest of the footage is just Nick playing through the game until he eventually meets Mr. Brandon, the talking elephant. He gets the first crystal and Mr. Brandon decides to help him, only for him to be warned by doomed to not get too distracted. The footage ends with Oliver giving Michael a present and confirming that the police are trying to find him. This confirms that Michael may have disappeared after their argument in the previous video. It also reveals that the two are brothers. That said, I can't help but ask myself, if Nick isn't the person possessing the player Sonic, then who is? I am suspecting that this could be Michael himself, but I am not too sure.
