Newborn Cloth Diaper Stash ~ Prefolds and Covers

I have tried a few brands of prefolds and GMD is BY FAR the best. The almost square shape is so superior...and they truly last forever. My size mediums are finally starting to get threadbare after 4 years of use. If we have another, I think I want to try cloth in the newborn stage. Wool covers are so intriguing to me also! Never tried them, but always wanted to.

Eat Pray Crunch when we had our daughter my friend gave me her GMD prefolds she used on her two kids, they were in perfect shape. They are now being used by my sister on her newborn. They have lasted through four kids!

Thirsties still makes the sized covers! And they even come in snaps now too (which I think is great, since I personally hate hook and loop).

That is good to know, I saw on amazon that is said "discontinued by manufacturer" but perhaps it was just a certain color or something.

Katie Cooks and Crafts yeah, probably that. Or maybe it was the old style of hook and loop? Other retailers (like GMD, for example) still carry them!

They still make the thirsties sized covers. Although i think the dips are a more economical choice

make sure you keep all your prefolds when your done with them you will love them for dusting and cleaning rags

Hello! Thank you for the video. Did you use snappis to close these? Also, did you trifold the prefolds in the Thirsties covers, or did you snappi them on in a fitted fashion?

I never had much luck with trifold. I used Snappis from birth to potty training for both of my kids.

5 or 6 for newborn, less for older babies.
