She is adorable, my granddaughter @ 30 weeks was 4lbs 1oz. Several surgeries and 65 days later she was released from the NICU. Bless God that was 10 yrs. ago today. Our God is awesome.

Meal trains are a lifesaver for new moms! As a doula I ask every client if I can set up their meal train. It’s sad when no one signs up and I’m the only one bring meals- but I know every little bit is so special. I was blessed to have meal trains with babies 2,3 and 4. Nothing for baby 5 because winter covid baby and that was hard in me- we have zero family here-military life. Peace is so precious. It’s so sweet seeing how grandparents are with babies. My dad and in-laws still haven’t met out 8m old😭 Those backflips🤩 Bravo!!

Seeing your dad with the kids makes my heart melt. I was raised by my grandparents and my Papa died a few months after I got married in 2012. He was the same gently, silly, and fun grandpa. He loved babies, and never got to meet my 3 girls. Seeing your dad with your littles was such a blessing! It was awfully cute.

Sarah…. She’s a beautiful baby girl! Another wonderful blessing. Thank God for you and your family! I absolutely adore your mom and dad…. They are so sweet and funny too!! My grandson had weight loss and gain problems at birth as well. He was 9 pounds 6 ounces when he was born. He lost some ounces before leaving the hospital but by the time he went to the first appointment he had lost way more and was back and forth on the weight check train at the doctor. Thank God all was well… he went back up to birth weight and 1 pound beyond by 6 weeks!!!🥰 Enjoy… God bless you all 🙏🏽

Hi from a mama of 14. Here is a little tip for helping baby gain. Keep her warm! If she has to spend energy to keep warm, she isn’t going to gain as fast. Especially when they’re little like Peace, they struggle to maintain their temperature. It’s a lot of work when you’re that small. So fun to relive the days of my busy home full of children❤️ I only have 3 at home now, but almost 19 grands now. I’m 58. God bless all of you! I think your mom and dad are a hoot. Love their humor and enjoyment of grandparenting.

My son was her birth weight when born and dropped weight and it was hard because of his size he would fall asleep during being fed. So he had to eat much more often. We even had to wake him up. At the time my dr said it was his size. He was expending a lot of energy feeding and not able to consume as much at once. But after we started that he started gaining and then just transitioned into regular feedings. He was smaller but he caught up eventually. That was 25 yrs ago so now there is so many new things. Your a great experienced mama ❤ love watching your family.

Yes!! The haaka was so helpful for catching milk and helping with milk supply. And a meal train is the BEST gift someone can organize and give. A home cooked meal in the first few weeks of postpartum is the most delicious meal ever. All those folks who ask “what do you need? How can I help?” can just be directed to the your meal train website. Easy peasy and so delicious and appreciated.
