The gripe water used to come with a squeeze eye dropper, which was great when twins were newborns, they would just suck on it. Then a few months later, they switched it to the current one, which I prefer for older babies but they should have the option to choose.

Girl preach about that syringe!! The 3rd time I gave my son gripe ware that syringe got stuck and then shot medicine into his mouth soo fast that he choked and it covered his face. I freaked out because he was gasping for air. By the time he spit it up and he started feeling okay again i was a crying mess. I have yet to ever use the syringe again. I never will. I also use a dropper or I just mix it with some expressed breast milk in a small bottle.

Hey girl, if looking for another option for swaddles, I really think the brand embe has a great swaddle, they have it designed differently for changing them so you don't need to un swaddle their arms, they also have legs out option. I found the company through a KZbinr, she said she tried everything and loved embe the most where here baby couldn't ever get there arms out. Im currently pregnant, still waiting to try it myself but I love how soft the fabric is....he's soo sweet 😘

Whenever I changed my two, I would put the new nappy underneath their bottoms before taking the old one off, saved a lot of mess haha! Will be doing the same when this little one comes along!
@Him.Me.Q.and.P4 жыл бұрын
@FearnTuckerBentley how does it waste nappies, it's the nappy I'm just about to put on them...? 🤔 It's there, ready to go, so there's no fumbling around grabbing and opening a new one while baby is exposed long enough to pee (or worse) over the mat.
@Him.Me.Q.and.P4 жыл бұрын
@FearnTuckerBentley I don't remove the old nappy until the baby is all clean and ready for the new one. It simply saves that little bit of time between cleaning baby and getting a new nappy ready, as the new one is already there. It's under the old one. The new nappy is not there to catch accidents, the old one is still in place for that.
@Him.Me.Q.and.P4 жыл бұрын
@FearnTuckerBentley because this way it's ready and in place and I find it easier. Why are you so bothered with how I change my babies nappies?!
@Him.Me.Q.and.P4 жыл бұрын
@FearnTuckerBentley I don't know how more clearly I can type that no nappies get wasted this way, any accidents occur in/on the old nappy. I wouldn't cost myself extra money, that would be stupid. This is just a faster, more convenient way for me to change my babies nappies. You do you, and I'll continue to change my babies the way I find the most effective. I'm not going to dignify you with another response, because honestly, I'm bored. I was just trying to pass on a helpful tip to another parent, if you don't find it useful then that is entirely fine, I won't lose any sleep over it. Take care.

My favorite carrier in a ring sling when they get to about 2-3 months. My favorite blankets are Muslin ones. They are useful for burp cloths/nursing cover/ car seat cover/ wrap baby in to swaddle or keep warm/change them on in the car or on the floor at someone’s house/ to wipe up milk. They are just the do it all blanket. Fans are our go to for noise machines, cause I sleep with a fan noise myself. :) So happy for you guys! You are doing amazing. @Alexis Gold exactly!!! SHe clearly has no experience in diapering a baby. @FearnTuckerBentley just to clear up any confusion most people have cloth covers on their change tables. The swaddles I had with mine had a zipper on the bottom and were smaller than that one so it fit her when she was a newborn with minimal fussing. The one you have looks like it'd be amazing for older babies, though. Like, super amazing. I think that I'll have to look into those next time I get pregnant. But, yeah, that velcro.... there are a few brands of swaddles that are starting to go over to plastic velcro which is supposed to be quieter which is nice.

@@LexieThiery yes, and the inside. I remeber you telling that your son was kicking from the inside against the scar, and that of gave you a lot of pain. But i still have so much respect for you as a mother how you bore the pain and sacraficed your body for him. And Christ did even more for us, it brings more perspective for me what Jesus did and went through. I am so happy you are feeling better, lots of love for your family!
