Thank you for posting. Yes to the bottle recommendations, please and thank you. I know so many people loved the Dr. Browns but those didn't work for my first and both my kiddos loved the Phillips Avent❤ And I feel the same for literally all of these no's! I was legitimately so overwhelmed by all the "lists" out there of what you need, etc. and I own a small home so I was like what are the bare minimum. 😅 I actually won a magic bullet and it is so much smaller than my blender and I do know how much of which items I am blending to add to that, but a baby specific one, nah.

Those scent booster things in general are just a NO for me. Our homes are over-perfumed already. If you're worried about your clothes smelling musty then either you have too many clothes, so you're not wearing them in rotation; or you're storing them improperly or have an issue with your home (damp etc). If you've got things that go into seasonal storage, like ski wear or woollens, store them with cedar balls or lavender bags.

I thought como tomo was designed for breastfed babies? Could you explain why it’s a no? We got one in a sample box and my daughter and husband love it!

Would love bottle recommendations! We currently use Dr brown. I agree on socks and mittens!

A no for me was a breastfeeding pillow. I just used a regular pillow

I’d love to hear about your bottle recommendations, both my girls needed preemie nipples to control flow, but after they got out of that the regular Parents Choice brand bottles worked the best for them overall. I breastfed almost exclusively but there were a few times that bottle feeding was required and they didn’t like any other brands I tried

Yes to the bottles stuck between Dr. Browns and Avant (anti colic) people say the avant- is better because or cleaning and sanitation

My babies loved the comotomo bottles ❤ they are expensive AF compared to others but we really liked them. Also we didnt have 20 of them since our babies were nursed their first 8 (daughter) and 11 (son) months and then were using bottles when the girls ran dry. 😂

I've heard Como tomo can be good when a baby is exclusively breastfed for a while and then needs to learn to take a bottle. I hated them when I nannied and was feeding a 3 month old formula with them. They were too fast, would upset her stomach, and would collapse all the time. The mom wouldn't change them because she thought they looked better than other bottles 🙄

@@katiehensley290 haha yeah honestly it was a pain in the butt when then would suck it on themselves because the valves were stuck closed, just need to squish them around and they work fine after. Omg “because they look better” that is not a good enough reason…. As for the too fast part they have different nipples 1 hole 2 holes 3 holes and and X shaped one too

@Myjellycatobsession , good to know! Yeah, this poor kid was so uncomfortable from eating too much too fast, and her poor belly was distended. But who cares, so long as the bottle looks pretty. Those people were awful.

Could you expand on your thoughts about the owlet. I’m pregnant with my first and this is high on my list of wants lol

I've never used one, but I have heard that they can give false readings, hence the extra anxiety for parents.

Or if the wi-fi (power) goes out it doesn’t work. *** Is my understanding. I never owned or used the product.

I loved it personally. But for some people the false alarms might be anxiety provoking and some people might feel the need to watch the monitors all the time. Just depends on your personality really

@@mamanursetina ohh okay. Yes I would be watching all the time 😂😂😂

I love it. I haven’t gotten a false reading, either. Not that it can’t happen, but it just hasn’t happened to me. She’s 8 1/2 months old, but the thought of SIDS is still terrifying so when I get really anxious even when I’m staring right at her, looking and seeing that yes, she’s fine really helps me calm down. It still works without wifi (we took it on a cruise with us last month). The only difference is that the camera won’t work (which we don’t even use right now because she’s still in our room beside my side of the bed) and you can’t see live readings. It’s still monitoring, though.

Ooo what would be good alternatives for hospital wear for baby? Just swaddle blankets and some good diapers?
@muppetsrule11437 күн бұрын
Our hospital used a wrap outfit.
@katiehensley2903 күн бұрын
The hospital typically has little shirts u can use under the swaddle. I think her point with that one was to impress that the baby should be skin to skin as much as possible in the hospital.

Can you talk more about drinking and breastfeeding and increasing supply?
@mamanursetina7 күн бұрын
Increasing supply I have a whole long form on my page just click videos. Drinking and breastfeeding there’s guidelines by the CDC but basically if you have a single drink you should wait 2 hours or more. Also keying in to how you feel is important. If you feel sober and able you’re likely fine to feed baby ☺️

Como tomo was the 1 bottle my daughter took when I stopped breastfeeding her.
