Oh yes, the cloth diaper skepticism is real!! Ugh!! I've encountered the same! I'm actually not a mom yet, I'm nannying for two children but I've been cloth diapering them for 3 years collectively so I think I know by now what it's really like and I definitely want to stick to it with my own future children as well! Hahaha I love the tone of voice you had there, so proud of yourselves for proving you could do it juuuuust fine! Honestly people make it sound harder than it is. Good for you sticking to it! This video is really enjoyable. I just found you today and I'll definitely be "hanging out" more often in the future!

How did not know you cloth diapered your babies! I think I came to your videos through your meal preppings ....So glad to know you guys CD. For us cloth diapering has been so rewarding in so many ways - never been more relieved to not be throwing $$ straight into the landfill and, I’ve never felt so relieved to know I’m not polluting our world.....Gee...don’t know for which i’m most glad.....did I say I love the fact that I never have to run to go get diapers and wipes? Yeah, we never had to worry about the diaper shortage that recently passed! Oh, and did I say we NEVER have to use diaper rash ointments? bc baby never needs them! Best feelings ever!

All my kids had cradle cap bad too. We used this “lotion” type stuff. It was Winney the Pooh themed and it was a small green bottle. I found it at Target once. It was the only thing that helped. Also, I saw you were listening to 103.5 in the car. They have 90’s country at noon everyday. It’s the best!! P. S. Meredith is so cute and getting so big :)

Hi Kim I absolutely love watching you. Your amazing just wanted to let u know my daughter had cradle cap but what worked for me was washing her hair everyday and ur finger movements when rubbing and moisturising helps it remove from the scalp. Completely upto you ( my daughter is bathed every morning hair washed still she’s 2 ) but love your channel xx Meredith is so gorgeous kiss to all kids especially that amazing baby x
@laurensolf77054 жыл бұрын
Yes the oil worked for us. Apply the oil, then run it in with that brush, gently rubbing the scalp with the oil removes all that yucky stuff. Takes a few goes at it. I used to do it on bath days b4 washing the hair. :)

My son had horrible cradle cap when he was about 2 months old and I tried everything. The only thing that worked was leaving coconut oil on his head overnight and in the morning I would give him a bath a go at it with the safety 1st fine tooth comb and it was completely gone in two days. Just a little advice. Hope it helps 🙂

For merideth cradle cap i would suggest you moisturize it with olive oil i used to use extra virgin olive oil the cooking one :D n then use a kid tooth brush to loose some of the flakes n did the same after the bath use a brush to loose the flakes after a few baths it will get better. My daughter also had it n this worked on her.

Take the soft bristle brush you get in the baby kit and baby shampoo and massage her hair during bath time to get rid of it. I did this with both mine and it worked for me. (Massage gently but enough to massage the flakes away. I did it until all the flakes looked like they was off) only took me two times before it didnt come back. Good luck!

Love your videos, Kim! Meredith is looking a little like Wentworth now😍 For my daughter's cradle cap I put an oil and then used a comb or brush to get all of the crap off but you have to brush vigilantly. She still gets build up if I don't comb her hair frequently (and she's 4) so I think it's just her skin type. She also has eczema.

My parents used to be real concerned about me when I would sing “Friends in Low Places” as a kid. I turned out great! 😅 Ironically, I never drink or do anything. I like food and caffeine. When I worked at a daycare, we used baby oil on a baby with severe cradle cap once a day and it seemed to help.
