I played this back in 8th grade and I really enjoyed it. I graduated last year in 2016 and I still remember the last part played by low brass since I was a trombone. The last section near the end was actually a chair test and it was the first chair test I made 2nd chair. From then on I was either 3rd or 2nd but in my senior I was actually 1st. Aaah memories

Johnnie Vinson, the composer, was director of bands at Auburn University from 1991 to 2007. This is the finest recording of the march posted, but it's a shame that there is no information as to what band is playing.
