Loved this, but because of ffp Newcastle is been stopped from competing in the top 6 they only want cartel 6 in the top spots

The Premier League seems to be cracking down on FFP. Don't think Newcastle should be too worried cause you've spent wisely. There will always be more scrutiny on Newcastle cause its a State-owned club

FFP is one of the tools to greatly delay entry into the top five domestically and elite European leagues. This can only push more teams to re-look towards to a break-away european league, smashing the monopolies controlling football today.

Its interesting because Newcastle have not spent that much but your owners have to figure out a way to increase revenue to balance the books. Seems FFP aimed at trying to prevent clubs from becoming a Man City over night.

Newcastle United has won quite a few trophies. Remember the Premier League has been around for only about 32 years. Man United, Liverpool etc have all had their ups and downs but Newcastle can claim a stake in English Football legacy.

Not true there were no potential buyers in 2009/19 or 2015/16, Amanda Staveley brought Sheik Mansoor here in 2008 but Ashley, as he did several times, refused to meet them so they moved on to the next best club (in their eyes) they took over Man City ...we never forgave this awful owner & never will (there was actually a massive court case held at the Old Bailey when, yet again an arrangement to buy had been set up with wealthy Middle East buyers ! He got very drunk in an exclusive hotel in that country, abused all Arabs verbally as well as their religion...he had to be got out of that country very quickly! The former footballer who'd set up that whole meeting was left badly out of pocket & he is the one who took Ashley (Trashley) to the Old Bailey & won ...Ashley was made to cough up £5m in costs ! 14.5 years later he got bought out...Good owners but , well , let's say things still have a long way to go...perhaps someone other than Darren Eales may understand we Geordies & make sure we got our season tickets back...given up in the last throes on Ashley's era to force him to sell to the new owners instead of considering filling sjp up with Chinese and Americans first...the football only has to drop-off a little more & that lot will drop-out, as seen during the Man City match, we, in the Leazes especially were swamped by Chinese City 'supporters ' who had no problem disrespecting our support, some bunches being ejected during the match, many more waiting till the end to fawn over those in blue FROM our seats ! Not on you owners, please sort this 😢

This is an interesting story about the Mike Ashley reign I was not aware of. Definitely worth doing some research on it and maybe have it as a future video. As a Man United fan, I have always respected Newcastle and unlike Man City, your fans were not bought. Newcastle has a stake in English football history.

@@jsocials checkout the Court case with Jimenez, it was caused by Ashley getting mortal drunk, abusing the potential buyers of NUFC & Jimenez having to 'save' him from the public whilst mortal drunk and vomiting, sneaked onto a plane the next day & , in the subsequent court case, Ashley was ordered to pay Jimenez £5m !

Can understand your view on Newcastle's ownership but American and Arab owners have also done well at various clubs. You may hate Man City but you cant deny the investments that have been made in the Manchester area. There's more examples of these owners making positive contributions.
