Been to the Stack, Shark bar, and the Butterfly cabinet, all great places Newcastle is a magic city, people must be the friendliest on earth, so helpful, and good humoured , my daughter lives there now, love visiting

Hiya Kate enjoyed the video. Tynemouth is 13 miles away from Newcastle upon Tyne. A good half hrs drive. Maybe you should have said Tyne and wear instead. Just being pedantic because I live in Newcastle.

@@rtoward7275 It takes 20 minutes in a car to South Shields, maybe 30 minutes on a Metro. I said South Shields because Cleadon (Romanos, a restaurant I mentioned), although listed in Sunderland is very much on the border of South Shields. The closest metro would be East Boldon. As for Durham, it is literally 30 minute drive tops. I assume less on a train from Newcastle Central Station since it is THE NEXT STATION! Call me a "first class nob", I have never lived in Durham if that is your perception. I just know it's NOT an hour away so stop spouting utter crap. Put it in a route planner and eat some humble pie. I eat in Newcastle, Durham, South Shields, Sunderland.... literally anywhere food is nice. I can honestly say the restaurants I mentioned above are better than those in the video. Just because they are in town does NOT make them the best. You said "an hrs train ride" if it's an hour, how can you drive to it in 30 minutes.... 45 at a push if you live at the back end of Newcastle City Centre Surely a train is faster? It probably is a 20 minute train ride to Durham centre and about 10-15 minute walk from station to Zen. And yes I have driven across Tyne Bridge it's really easy and not an issue. Your original comment was pathetic cos you take issue about someone who has travelled from London and squabble over stopping at the station before Newcastle. As though travel time was even an issue and then to amplify it. What was the point?

I live in Newcastle around 4 years and I never found a good place to eat healthy :( most of them said healthy food and when I open the book I straight away can see chips, ketchups , mayos, everything fried in oil, sugares, gluten, white flour , starch. A lot of tasty stuff but none of these meals are good for you. Take care
