@@nickimorley536 Ben Habib.....what a wonderful guy. I do think Reform/Nigel made a collosal mistake by ousting him from 2nd in command. Ben and Tice worked so hard for Reform before Nigel stepped in, making Tice deputy. I never really liked or trusted Tice and even less so after referring to the majority who voted for Reform as 'that lot,' because they were also supporters of Tommy. I doubt Ben Habib would have referred to patriots in the same manner.

I agree, it is essentially pointless, which is disastrous in a supposed democracy. The PM is allowed to dodge questions, respond to a question that hasn't been asked or fudge his answers. These are ploys politicians frequently use, and it is the responsibility of the Speaker to direct the PM to give a full and clear answers. This could be done more effectively by a Speaker who doesn't represent any political party, because regardless of the role he or she is intended to fulfill, their own bias, conscious or unconscious, is going to be present.

Rupert Lowe talks so much sense. Balanced, fair, and concerned about the things that are really damaging Britain. As soon as we can vote out Labour the better.

@@b85382 Farage "loves the fame", he also knows that his party needs publicity which is often mistaken for the same thing.

Great interview Peter ... I think what we should remember is when Reform get in we will have a team of strong leaders, just like when I was young ... independent free thinkers (including Ben) working together to make this country great again.

Parliament should represent the majority of electorate. They , like the Councils, should be a service to their people, not their masters. Not driven by some ideology, such as mass migration or net zero.

Rupert would be smart to acknowledge, most boomers who are now pensioners have worked and lived hand to mouth all their lives and are not residents of the leafy Surrey suburbs. Many of us don't own our homes and can't access social housing due to shortage of stock and excess needy.

Perfectly put. I know plenty of boomers who live frugal lives. Not sure why he said that, if not to seek to divide generations. I'm rather disappointed. I'm not a boomer, but I have enormous respect for that generation.
