Chili Mac wasn't bad. Most of the guys I knew preferred it, or spaghetti with meat sauce, over most of the other entrees. The actual taste of the MRE's at that time was not bad at all, in my experience. It was the more the limitation in meals. Nowadays, there are a ton of entrees to choose from.

These were the MREs from my era. Most actually did taste really good. Chili mac was probably most people's favorite. They all came with that same accessory pack with the tiny bottle of tobasco and the chiclets. Lol.

I love this type of videos it’s so interesting!. Also they make me fall asleep quicker I’m not sure why it’s just relaxing. some people watch amsr or bob ross videos to help entertain and fall asleep. I watch old military food videos instead 👍🏽

Old MREs are a lot safer to consume than those nasty old cans of food. You should never eat from a can that's bulging or rusty.

Adora Basil Winterpock it’s the same thing. The kids born in the late 90s experienced the same stuff as the early 2000s. Like a child born in 2015 will experience pretty much the same thing as a child born in 2020

The Steve 1989 guy doesn't seem to be as loud when he eats or he has his mouth away from the mic and that is helpful for sure!
