Tongues and cheeks, I haven’t had fisherman’s brews, since I was a teenager. When my great grandmother made them for me and my Grandfather and father. That was 47 years ago . Thank you so much I actually got emotional thinking about it. I believe Aunt Bessie , made the hardtack. 💕

Thank you for your kind words, Carol! It's great to hear that you enjoyed the video and the beautiful places featured in it. Dildo and Petty Harbour are indeed charming destinations in Newfoundland. And it sounds like Chafe's Landing was a delicious choice for your dining experience. Enjoying local delicacies like tongues sounds like a delightful plan for your next visit. Newfoundland's unique charm and culinary offerings make it a truly special place to explore.

La Batts bought out Dominium Brewing and now brews Blue Star and Jockey Club, Blue Star was and still may be a love hate relationship. On the Placentia Bay run I would trade a fifth of Bacardi Silver for a Mason Jar of Screech!

It sounds like you have some interesting insights into the world of brewing and local traditions! It's fascinating to hear about the connections between different breweries and the unique exchanges that take place. Trading a fifth of Bacardi Silver for a Mason Jar of Screech sounds like quite the memorable exchange! It's these kinds of experiences that add depth and character to the local culture.
