I'm glad Newgrounds is still going strong in the current year; It was basically my introduction to the Internet when I was 8 years old. I'm 24 now and not much seems to have changed on the website, and honestly, I think that's nothing but a good thing when you consider that KZbin has seen so many revisions that make the website worse as well as an algorithm that does not favor animation unless you're a storytime animator, Twitter is a cesspool of toxic witch hunting, chan websites are a weak shadow of their former glory, and tumblr doesn't do 18+ content anymore. Not Newgrouds though, it's still going strong and still full of talented, creative people given a platform that doesn't say "No, you can't do this". If that website goes, I don't think the internet will ever truly be the glorious thing it was in Web 1.0 ever again.

This was a nice roll down memory lane - I used to go to Newgrounds all the time as a kid and played just about every game on this list. It was also a nice surprise seeing my game (albeit just the thumbnail) briefly appear at 20:43 (Just Passing)

I was just watching, waiting for a Stick RPG scene. And finally! A thumbs up for you my friend. Great video. Played Stick RPG for way more hours than I care to admit back in the day.

Talk about Madness Interactive, but not Project Nexus? That's a paddlin'.

Project Nexus I understand. That's a very recent game, not something that existed in 2000.

@@STFwrinkle You're not understanding my objection. The flash range Critical Nobody is covering doesn't reach any games from 10 years ago, which means that's too recent for his journey through Newgrounds.

Thank you for the video I remember spending many hours on new grounds back when I was in college. I guess you never watched Dad's home or watched anything involving the strawberry clock videos. There's also the badger video and llama video that comes to mind.

Great video, a bit random but great nonetheless. On a side note, I was wondering if maybe you would consider taking a look at the Hitman games, kind of like you did with Splinter Cell.

As someone who has studied Chinese for ~ 4 years and lived there for a year, I commend you on your untrained pronunciation of Xiao Xiao. It was honestly pretty spot on for someone who doesn't speak Chinese (I assume).

Broo, The Last Stand series is that shit!!! I recently played it again, just as fun as the first time! Also Zombie Trailer Park, Madness Combat, and More Mindless Violence, and lots of others as well. I still love Newgrounds and flash games, grew up with them myself. Awesome video
