It’s weird to think about it. Being 10 years old and doing flash animations was a hobby when I wasn’t playing garbage flash games. They literally spent like 15 years of their life drawing and animating to get to this point. Everyone loves entertainment and cartoons are easily watchable. I got into coding and music instead because art isn’t my strong suite. I was maybe 13 years old watching newgrounds and albinoblacksheep. 13 years later and they are on TV. Pretty amazing

I think Marc M. (Mr. Boss) is the best realization I’ve had about this show… Sick Animation skits were my favorite things in the world in college, I even had a signed SickAnimation poster in my dorm. Then come to find out the absolute funniest show I’ve personally ever seen with Smiling Friends, headed by two of the funniest dudes alive, also wrangled in Marc M. Himself. It’s just too perfect. My first watchthrough, whenever Mr. Boss gets that deep, ridiculous southern accent I thought “that sounds so much like Sickanimation characters”. Then finding out that yep, it’s Marc, just blows my mind.

The weirdest thing about the Shrimp episode, was that before we get to see him, the Smiling Friends are in his hallway and you see this guy get his head stomped in an apartment complex, and there is blood gushing everywhere. Soon we are introduced to Shrimp and I heard David Firth’s voice immediately. I think that head stomping thing was like some sort of Fat Pie reference, or it’s at least something David would add in his animations.
